"We recently hired this lawn company for a full backyard makeover and overall had a very good experience. The scope of work included removing weeds, leveling the ground, installing a new sprinkler system, laying fresh sod, and adding decorative rocks along the back fence. The project took about four days to complete, and he brought in several helpers to get the job done efficiently. Everything was handled in an organized manner, and the yard looks refreshed now. The sprinkler system was installed properly and works as expected. any questions we had were answered promptly. The total cost came out to around $10,000, which felt fair given the amount of work involved. We're happy with how it turned out. "

He called me the day of my request and was at my house a couple days later to work up the quote. His quote was reasonable and he let us know he would be able to do the job within a week. It is quite rare these days to have anyone in the service industry do anything in a timely manner. Eric had the job completed within 10 days of our initial conversation. Very impressive!! His job was thorough and quite impressive. I recommend him to anyone that is interested in landscaping service in the Roanoke Valley area."

"In October of 2024 Shane came out to give me a quote for yard clean up. After several calls by me, I finally got a start date. Shane called me and said they could start a day early and I was fine with that but they showed up at 5:30pm. I was told they would start at noon. The next day (actual start date) they showed up at 7:30pm and were there for a half hour and left because getting dark. I was told they would be there the next day at 9am. At 10:30am I called Shane asking where the crew was. He actually argued with me telling me they were there. So apparently I was blind. They showed up after 11am and they finished while I was out. Only half the job was done. I emailed all photos of areas not done with pic of contract for those areas quoted. In no way did Shane reach out to see if everything was done. I had to hire another company to finish what they did not do. When I got the bill, I reached out to Shane and said we need to revisit this bill because not everything done. He offered a $150 discount (via Sara's email) which was laughable and said "if ok we will send a new invoice". I sent an email back saying $150 is not acceptable and got no response. No response for 5 months! I got an email 5 months later saying my bill was delinquent but they cut the bill in half. I never received new invoice that showed bill was cut in half till 5 months after my last contact with them. They are not trustworthy and play games. If I could give a zero, I would."

"Felt rushed to approve the work and pay the balance. Discovered multiple issues later. Just inside the door there's a rock they missed, so now it's under the plastic, which will sooner or later puncture through. I asked for a better door than the one the first installed, but the second was also poorly made and didn't come close to sealing. Called/talked to someone about the issues, but afterward they stopped returning my calls. They also left lots of debris on the ground. The inspection didn't pass for multiple reasons. Waiting for them to come back and address the issues the inspector found. Update: THBS did follow up and fix the issues. They constructed a new crawlspace door that seals, which was the biggest issue. They took out the problematic rock. The inspection passed."
