"I have hired David and David Jr. for 2 projects now. And I will be having them back again this springtime. They did an extensive Potager Rose Garden with walk ways of stone, incased in a stone wall with pillars. In the center is a 3 tier water fountain. It turned out exquisite. They helped me design the garden and gave such interesting ideas that I had not thought of. Their work ethic is stellar. They are honest , forthright and fair. And the quality of work is simply exquisite. They found large thick flat stones that were used as steps out of the garden that just added the final touch. Then to my surprise they added out door lighting that at night is just beautiful reflecting off the roses and fountain. They took my dream to the next level. The next project we did a stone walkway, patio and again, the same huge thick stone slabs for steps all the way around the patio. It is stunning . We will be adding a covered pergola to it this spring tying in the front and back yards with the same style and finesse. If you are looking for professionals that you desire to take your project to the next level, and to be fair in price and superb in quality of work, then this is the company for you. You can find workmen, but to find someone with the eye to design according the topography and to capture the esthetic of the house and land is not easy to come by. This spring we will be adding more walkways and extending a stone wall, and building more pillars making entrances to the barn and private drive. I would trust no other company with my property and my visions for this property, after having worked with them. I am assured you will feel the same."

But like most contractors, you have to stay on top of the management and foreman, to ensure that they understand the scope and the details and are performing them as desired. I am extremely pleased with the work, but had to provide a lot of guidance and preventing of counter-suggestions from what it is I needed. "Came out to my property to remove a stump. Drove equipment into my yard prior to realizing they “couldn’t remove” the stump. They agreed to lay down seed and stray in the areas of the yard that they tore up prior to leaving and did not do it. I called later in the day to see when they would be coming back. The owner hung up on me and has since ignored my calls and text - Do Not Use!"

"Green Scene installed a paver patio in January of 2022. Although the patio itself does look good, I could not recommend them for other projects. The Good: The basic patio installation was done quickly and the patio itself does look good. The Bad: Terrible communication from start to finish with the office. After we selected them for the project entirely because they were available before anyone else, I had to debate with them to get them to follow through on the promised start date (eventually they did start and finish the patio itself within the promised timeline). As soon as they got paid, they became even slower to respond and never came back to finish some of simple final touches to work that had been promised (burying a water runoff drain they installed, adding dirt and sod around the patio where paver edging is 4 inches above the ground). They also did not move irrigation lines as promised and multiple sprinkler zones now need to be repaired. After 3+ months of following up to get them to complete these finishing touches, I have given up."
