"Steve was our primary contact. His crew did all of the work. It was a huge project and we are extremely pleased with the final product. They removed most of the existing plants, shrubs and trees and replaced them with new plantings, shrubs and trees. They also built two stone walls with pavers in our front yard and installed pavers on one side of our walk in our back yard. They planted several plants in the back yard also. They did the Spring Cleanup and mulched all of our beds. Everything looks excellent and we are very satisfied. The crew did an excellent job and were very polite and efficient. They did a great job getting rid of the existing shrubs and bushes. The new plants look excellent and Steve reviewed everything with us before they started working so we could approve the design and the choice of plantings. "I hired Following Steps Landscapers to build a new fence in my backyard, as well as to remove very old chain link and privacy fencing already in place. Once I contacted the owner, Angel, he was able to visit my property and supply an estimate within the week. Work began the following week. Very old fencing was removed and replaced with approximately 225 feet of pressure treated wood privacy fencing. The fencing included two gates: one in front and one in the rear of the property.  One side of the property proved problematic in that it included two old fences parallel to each other containing many old tree stumps as well as weeds and vines. Angel's crew removed everything to install a beautiful fence. The other side of my property contains a very large mulberry tree that sits directly on the property line shared with my neighbor. Angel's crew was able to split the fence to accommodate the tree. My neighbor said the crew was very nice to him when he was giving instructions as to where the property line sat. The crew also removed a large pine tree in the front yard that was planted too close to the house. Work was completed in a week. I was so pleased that the crew, who was very pleasant, also trimmed all of my bushes and cleaned the existing flower beds!  Everything was well prepared for me to begin new plantings in the spring. I was extremely happy with Following Steps work and, if need be, will hire them again.

"We first met with Eric to go over plans for the new landscaping. He was very accommodating to our needs and didn't mind the fact that we made changes along the way. He was very flexible and extremely knowledgeable about what kind of plants would work in our new landscape plan.
About six weeks later, they began demolition of our existing sidewalk and taking out the old shrubbery and an aging Magnolia. They even trimmed it back to see if it could be saved before taking it out. From our standpoint, the Magnolia had gotten too big and would not have gone with the new landscape.
Zack and Arturo were the primary people working with us and they were very professional and almost became part of our family after a few days.
The landscaping was great, but the paver sidewalk and what became almost an upfront patio was absolutely fantastic.
I'm not sure we could have accomplished such a major change to our house in any other way.
We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to any of our friends or neighbors.
