"I'm really late writing this review, but Fidel and the crew did an absolutely fantastic job building us a new deck. We talked at length about what I wanted, and he remembered everything I wanted done and did it perfectly. They used all long boards where appropriate, minimizing end-to-end seams. All corners are square and fit well, nails all subsurface, and quality wood was used throughout. The work was prompt and efficient, and cleanup and debris removal was perfect. The team was prompt and on time, and the job was finished faster than expected. We love our beautiful new deck, and wholeheartedly recommend JC’s Contracting. Thank you, Jose!"

"If anyone else’s experience has been anything like ours, It’s become very hard to find someone to come and give you an estimate, if they do, most never return to do the job, and if they do, forget about getting an honest answer on when they plan to start the job. I can’t remember the last time I hired someone to do work for me, that actually completed it with the quality and craftsmanship they promised up front! Now I can, Mr. Chris Odell seems to one of the very few who does what he says, when he says. And we were completely satisfied with everything he’s done for us so far. He is fair, honest, and dependable. We actually had an issue a couple weeks later, that had to do with the hardware that was used, and not his work specifically. Upon notifying him, he immediately made an appointment that was convenient for us, and came out made the repairs, (took about 10mins) and he refused payment, I would have paid him something for his time, because the fault wasn’t his. "In October of 2024 Shane came out to give me a quote for yard clean up. After several calls by me, I finally got a start date. Shane called me and said they could start a day early and I was fine with that but they showed up at 5:30pm. I was told they would start at noon. The next day (actual start date) they showed up at 7:30pm and were there for a half hour and left because getting dark. I was told they would be there the next day at 9am. At 10:30am I called Shane asking where the crew was. He actually argued with me telling me they were there. So apparently I was blind. They showed up after 11am and they finished while I was out. Only half the job was done. I emailed all photos of areas not done with pic of contract for those areas quoted. In no way did Shane reach out to see if everything was done. I had to hire another company to finish what they did not do. When I got the bill, I reached out to Shane and said we need to revisit this bill because not everything done. He offered a $150 discount (via Sara's email) which was laughable and said "if ok we will send a new invoice". I sent an email back saying $150 is not acceptable and got no response. No response for 5 months! I got an email 5 months later saying my bill was delinquent but they cut the bill in half. I never received new invoice that showed bill was cut in half till 5 months after my last contact with them. They are not trustworthy and play games. If I could give a zero, I would."

"These folks were outstanding. Tim came quickly when I asked for an estimate and he gave me a price within a few days. I was out of town when the estimate came and via email I accepted and we agreed on a start date. They started when agreed and during the construction they agreed to a few changes I asked for to the plans. The work was completed on schedule, was high quality, and I am pleased with all phases of the project!"
