"Excellent experience! Ferny was right on time to give me a fair estimate for some minor work to be done repairing doors, fixing drywall, and painting over it. We promptly agreed to his estimate and he returned just about an hour later to do the job (the timing worked for us). Ferny and Carlos exceeded all of our expectations: the work was flawless and fast, and they left the place sparkling clean. Another issue regarding a leak came up while Ferny was still in the house. Lucky for us, Ferny was willing to consult on the problem and provided a quick fix at no extra charge, along with suggestions on how to avoid the problem in the future. "We hoped to improve the appearance of our shower by having the mildew-stained grout removed and replaced. In the process, 24 of our glazed ceramic shower tiles were slightly chipped, scratched, or severely gouged by the Handyman's tool used to dig out the old grout. Our handyman worked hard at a difficult and dirty task, but ultimately didn't have control of the tool he was using as evidenced by the damage to so many tiles. On the positive side, Mr. Handyman paid us $50 to buy five tiles to replace the most severely gouged and our handyman returned to do the replacement free of charge. However, I am still distressed by the tiny chips and scratches which remain in so many of the shower tiles not replaced. There appears no easy way to repair the scratches and small chips. This job took two days and we had to pay $1,600 with a $100 discount coupon. We also had to pay $91 for the tool that ultimately caused the damage to our shower tiles. Mr. Handyman was very responsive in trying to address the problem, but we wish it hadn't happened in the first place and are not entirely satisfied with the end result for the money we paid. The grout job itself looks quite nice."

"Small mix up in scheduled time of arrival . Brian was very courteous and friendly . Kitchen install was very difficult due to rusted pipes and calcified washers. Even faced with tight spaces and very difficult rust, Brian persevered with out cursing or quitting . Thus showing great professionalism . The up stairs bath was similar in install , but all work was done in a timely manner which was a concern of the installer. He would explain that due to faulty original installation ( which he showed me first) why the job would take the time estimated before he began. Nice touch."
