"All of the work was done professionally and with a great deal of care. All of the workers were prompt and very hard working. When we had questions or concerns, Higgins was there to listen and adjust the plan to meet our concerns. We had some damaged wood that was in need of repair and they took care of that for us. We were also provided some other recommendations to make sure that areas were sealed properly, and they took care of those areas for us. Lastly, their suggestions for painting certain trim work and gutters different colors, really did a number for bringing the whole look together. The whole time, they were committed to making sure that we were happy with the work being done, and that was very comforting to know. I would recommend them to anyone in the Pittsburgh area looking for help with their next painting project."

"Ray responded promptly to my call and provided an estimate for the service even though he seldom takes that small a job. He gave some advise and a convincing explanation on the type of paint he generally uses. He advised that he could complete the job and have the house livable in one day. He scheduled at my convenience and arrived promptly with two employees that morning. I remained outdoors or in a bedroom that was not being painted so was able to look in from time to time. They worked steadily and carefully and completed the project by mid-afternoon. They replaced the furniture and removed any debris from the worksite leaving the excess paint. Overall it was a very satisfactory experience with minimal disruption and most important a lovely new paint job."

"JR was punctual and communicated well throughout the project. We had a large 15 foot long crack in our plastered living room ceiling which he repaired and painted. It was a tricky repair because he had to match the swirl in the plaster and it turned out great. He also repaired cracks in our upstairs hallway and painted it. He cleaned up thoroughly and finished in the original estimated time. His prices are reasonable and fair. We will definitely be hiring him again to paint the exterior of our house."

"Plastering to windows and walls nearby was done beautifully on damaged areas from cracked caulking on exterior windows that faced the wind of a high hill. After caulking was done earlier, I went to the internet and found this website for home improvement companies and received a call from the company within a day's time. I then sent photos of the plaster damage and received a PDF of the company's price and description. I hired them immediately and they scheduled my plastering within 5 days! Although the temps were extremely cold, and the repair was in every room I have for my living quarters, it was well worth the scheduling than wait for warmer weather, or do the job in 3 parts, as there were 3 windows, one in each room. The job will be completed in 3 days (have 2 days completed) so I am looking forward to having the areas painted after the plaster dries - the areas look great already and have a final step to undergo, so I am well satisfied that Home Advisor has good people and that Mr. Handyman is my new contractor as I am buying another home (condo this time) that I will be responsible for the repairs to the interior. Thank you for being there when I needed you - I am selling this house to move to the condo too so time is of the essence in locating skilled artists in the many trades that keep a house beautiful!"

"They were very careful with our belongings and did a great job with attention to detail on an extensive amount of trim work. We couldn't be more satisfied with the results. Mark was prompt in giving us a quote that matched or bested any other that we received. We had used his firm before so our confidence that they would do an excellent job was confirmed. They were able to fit us into their schedule with short notice. It only took three days for what we thought would be at least 5 given the size of the project. This was due to their efficient methods and use of manpower. They were able to provide the exact paint colors that we had selected. "I had him come over to look at the job, and he told me that it would be $500 on top of the cost of the deal. And I had to purchase the paint as well. The estimate seems quite high. I am not satisfied with the estimate and will be getting a refund."
