In a nutshell: I have extremely high standards and they exceeded ALL of my expectations!!! For those who want the long version: Carl Johnson (owner of Johnson Cabinetry & Refacing) and his crew are a phenomenal team. The whole process was smooth, fast, and easy. Let me reiterate EASY! Carl refaced my kitchen, which means all new doors and 1/4 inch real wood covering my old cabinet boxes. I had him change out a couple cabinets for better functionality as well. Looking at the final refacing product after it was all finished looks and feels like new cabinets--it turned out better than I ever could have hoped! Carl was involved from start to finish. He took notes and followed up on every detail. His work was meticulous and the transformation is amazing! Carl is detailed, professional, courteous, excellent communication, creative, and arrives on time. I was never given a "sales pitch" and never felt pressured. Carl and his team always seemed eager to accommodate my extra requests. My home was treated with the upmost care by Carl and his crew. Normally I get stressed with people in my home, but I found myself completely at ease. The end product on my cabinets was the absolute best possible outcome. They are GORGEOUS!!! "The project went very well! Leonard spent a lot of time with me designing the new tile layout in the kitchen. He didn't stop working on the design until we came up with the design that we were both happy with. Leonard was able to put a curve design between the kitchen flooring and the living room flooring, a couple of other contractors balked at the idea of doing that. The transition was very nice between the kitchen tile flooring and the hardwood flooring. He also did a lot of scribe wood work around my fireplace. Leonard paid a lot of attention to detail. Overall the project went very well and was done in a professional manner. I would definitely hire Leonard again. He knows his work very well! <br />"

"Ike has done several projects for us. He removed a large wrap around second story deck on a mountain home and put up a new cedar one, which included custom railings, stairs and application of the stain. In that same home, he laid flooring in 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Both the deck and flooring are still in great shape, years later. Recently, he assisted in re-landscaping our new yard. He laid down barrier around existing plants and then moved 24 tons of river rock to put down over the barrier. He also took down a barbed wire fence & posts and replaced it with a new 252' vinyl fence and gate. This installation required that post holes be dug, concrete poured and posts installed in 8' sections. His measurements were completely accurate. We were very pleased with how the project turned out. Ike is reliable, on time and committed to his projects. I highly recommend him for home repairs, projects and remodels. His prices are very fair."

"<p>Great experience!  Nuno was professional, easy to work with and very responsive.  He answered his phone upon my first call and considering I was on a short timeline, he made every effort to be available and start the work ASAP.  I called him in the afternoon and he came out that evening to give me a free estimate, which I really appreciated.  He fixed a running toilet, painted a back deck, tightened up a loose faucet and did some simple caulking around the kitchen sink to make sure it didn't leak.</p> <p>Nuno showed up when he said he would and he began his work right away working quickly and efficiently, which from what I could tell is because he knows exactly what he is doing.  He was happy to answer all of my questions and I had a LOT, mainly because I am curious and want to know how things in my house work.  He seemed to know a lot about the workings of a house.  </p> <p>One thing I really like is that he stands by his work, genuinely stating that if you are not happy with the work, you don't pay.  I am a business person myself and I was happy to hear his philosophy on taking care of his customers, which is that his job is to make the customers life easier by doing the job right the first time and above all else, making sure his customers are completely satisfied with the job before you pay.  He does not require a deposit before he begins work, he goes in to each job with the good faith that his customers will do the right thing and pay him when the work is done because he has done the best job he could do.  As a business minded person I don't entirely agree with that only because there are people out there who may end up not paying when the work is finished.  That said I do believe in karma, so I hope that Nuno and his belief in people attracts only the good people.</p> <br />"
