"Extremely satisfied with the work done. Mark and his crew were trustworthy, very neat, and kept me informed as the work went on. They stripped off the old wood shingles and clapboard siding and wrapped the house. Vinyl siding and trim was done with attention to the smallest details. Shingling the roof was added at the time of the siding job in March after damage to the existing roof from a winter storm. All new gutters and downspouts were installed. The deck was reconstructed with pressure treated wood and came out excellent. I was very impressed with the communication prior to the start of the job and throughout till completion. It seems rare nowadays to have such good communication, as many times people just don't call back when you are trying to get an estimate. Whittemore Home Improvement is the exception, they let you know they want the work and do a quality job with quality materials. <br />"

"I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. "Brian arrived promptly as scheduled and asked to see areas of concern visible in the house. After checking out water damage visible inside, he headed out to the roof where he fixed and caulked popped nails and open spots on chimney flashing and ridge vents. He returned with photos of problem areas on his tablet, and used those to explain trouble spots. He then was able to go through an itemized proposal that gave me reasonable options. Consequently, we agreed that we would contract to replace a missing chimney hat ($620 estimate) but hold off on replacing chimney flashing or ridge vents as current problems could've been due to an unusually tough winter and may have been resolved by the caulking. <br /> I was very impressed that Brian went above and beyond to clean out our gutters. I didn't request or expect this, and was very grateful as the gutters are extremely difficult to reach on our high, steep roof. <br /> Overall, I have great respect for CMV Contracting and will definitely call on them for all future roofing needs. <br />"

"This company provides excellent customer service! We bought a home in 2016 that included a pool house awning installed by Sondrini Enterprises in 2013. It worked fine until it didn't. in 2020, we called Sondrini Enterprises, and they came within a week to investigate and fix the issue. It needed a new motor. In the spring of 2024, the awning motor seemed to again be broken. We called again and Nate Sondrini, personally, was able to diagnose and, over the phone, provided us with simple step-by-step instructions that resulted in solving, what turned out to be a very simple problem. These folks are smart, competent and reasonably priced! Would have no issue using them again!"
