"I can’t recommend these guys enough, as they did an excellent job. I have to start by saying I had a different contracting company come out to inspect my roof for a leak in my roof. The first company stated they couldn’t find the leak, so they quoted me to basically have that whole section of the roof replaced, which was rather pricy. I needed to get a second opinion, and boy am I glad I chose M&D for this task. Mario was able to find the leaks right away, gave me an excellent price, and was able to jump on the roof and have it repaired right away. In addition, he took care of cleaning out my gutters, fixing my one downspout, and trimming around the house where it was pressing against the gutter on the one end of the roof. Again, these guys need a great job, and easy to work with to solve the problem."

"Excellent ... Robert promptly came over and provided a reasonable quote to plaster the kitchen ceiling due to an upstairs bathroom leak that resulted in the plumbers knocking it out. Since this is an older home the plaster needed to have a swirl pattern. I also mentioned painting was needed for the fix and Robert brought in his son who does painting. After discussions, I decided to also have the kitchen walls, chair rails, baseboards, and basement stair walls painted. This price too was reasonable. An appointment was made for a week later for the plaster work and the painting a week after that. Robert and his son and the 2 helpers finished the job promptly and professionally. The plaster with the swirl pattern blended in with the rest of the kitchen ceiling nicely."

I had Steve replace my roof about 7 yrs ago, and he did great job then so I called him when I decided to have larger gutters installed and replace some rotted fascia. Initially I wanted to have siding replaced as well, but Steve talked me out of it, insisting it would not be a good investment. Instead he recommended having it painted, which I did using my painter for 1/10th the cost of new siding. I appreciated Steve honesty and judgement, a rarity in an age of fly-by-night contractors.
