"They provided great communication for pricing, expected start time/dates, and updates on the progress of the project. They were very responsive to any questions I had about the work being performed and completed the projects as scheduled. They cleaned up after all steps of the process. They are very professional and reasonable with pricing and options to keep cost down. I will definitely use them in the future."

"I cannot say enough good things about Mr. Handyman. I had a fantastic experience with the technician, Teddy, who came out to tackle a list of projects for me. In just a few hours, he installed a new garbage disposal, adjusted my closet doors that were not properly closing, mounted shelves and a new curtain rod, and fixed my toilet that needed a new flush kit, and sealed various areas around my second bathroom with caulk. He worked efficiently and with an incredible amount of attention to detail. I didn’t even have to clean up a thing! He was friendly, professional, and communicative throughout the entire process. I highly recommend their services and will definitely use them again!"

"Mark, Mike and Kelly were extremely easy to work with. This was a GOOD contractor experience (not a contractor nightmare like everyone fears). They came over quickly to look at our project, gave us a very fair quote, and scheduled us at a time that was most convenient for us. They did an excellent job on our fence. Cleaned up the area beautifully. We can't wait to hire them again!"

"Willie and his All Things New team did beautiful work for us on a large remodeling project (kitchen & bath) in 2017, so when we decided to do additional repairs and add a second-floor bathroom to our Fellâ s Point townhouse, he was our first choice. We were not present for most of the work period, and we knew we could trust him entirely â both to carry out the remodel and to supervise other professionals (e.g., a stonemason, electricians and plumbers) to do good work at a fair price, on time. The results exceeded our expectations. Willie brings formidable expertise and management skills to his work. He gave us excellent advice on design, and went far beyond his formal responsibilities (and the original contract) to create a beautiful and functional space at a price we could afford."

"AMA was great to work with. All the small jobs I needed help with were completed nicely. Painted all the rooms, installed a new microwave, repaired the front sidewalk, and many other jobs, were completed professionally, at a reasonable cost, and in a timely manner. I'd recommend this company over and over again. Thanks Dan!"

FAQs for handyman service projects in Glen Arm, MD

Winterizing shields your home’s structure and key systems from snow, ice, and freezing temperatures. By sealing drafts and tuning up heaters, you cut energy waste, extend the life of appliances and windows, and avoid surprise repair bills. A small up-front investment keeps rooms cozy and protects the value of your biggest asset all winter long.

Yes, it’s important to prepare your sprinkler system for the winter. Blowing out the lines and insulating above-ground parts keeps valves and pipes from splitting when temperatures drop. A quick winterization visit costs far less than repairing burst components in spring, and it ensures your lawn--and your wallet--stay in good shape once the thaw hits.

A full home winterization plan goes beyond sealing windows and pipes. You might schedule a home energy audit, cover outdoor furniture, service the snowblower, swap smoke-detector batteries, add outlet gaskets, and hang storm doors. Each step beefs up your home’s protection, cuts drafts, and lowers the chance of costly cold-weather damage.
