No more gap at the bottom and air tight! the only problem I had, is after they left, I found damage to the new door around the hardware bolt exits were pieces of the door had been broken off. He even took the time to correct some things we initially didn't do to his standard which was very much appreciated.  We explained our goal was to have the new aluminum railings  match an existing fence and he made it happen. Wedge Construction wasn't the lowest bid we received but he took my calls or promptly returned them.  Some of the other bidders were very slow to respond and I had to "chase" one bid down for almost two weeks.  I pretty much knew that contractor wasn't going to get the job but I always like 3-4 bids to make sure everyone understands the scope. As a rule I eliminate the lowest and highest bid and Wedge Construction was right in the middle.  His bid included purchasing materials, tearing out the old wood and removal.  His workmanship is guaranteed for two years which was another great advantage that no one else offered. 

While Ken was working on the deck we had another small project going which required a new bathroom vanity to be set.  I asked him if he was interested in doing that for us and he took a look and gave me a very reasonable quote and did it the next day.  Once the onyx was set and plumbing installed he came back and trimmed out the bathroom as well.
