"I interviewed 4 companies for leaking parapet repair on my garage. Mario and Andy were always very communicative and quick to respond when I asked questions. They started (and finished) the entire job on the schedule they proposed. The work is excellent. This job created a lot of dust and debris and they did a nice job of cleaning up every day. I'm am very glad I chose Touchstone. I have some other brick work that needs to be done on our main home and will almost certainly use Touchstone. Other prospective clients are welcome to contact me for a reference."

Firstly, Johnathan and the team at JPL Masonry was incredibly professional and responsive. He promptly returned my calls and provided a detailed estimate for the project. He listened to my ideas and made outstanding suggestions that enhanced the final design. The craftsmanship is truly top-notch. The bricks are laid perfectly, and the mailbox is sturdy and elegant. It's clear that the Jon and his team take great pride in their work. They paid attention to every detail, ensuring that the mailbox not only looks great but will also stand the test of time. Moreover, the team was punctual and efficient. They completed the project within the estimated time frame and left the work area clean and tidy. "Miguel promptly returned my call, came to my house, and gave me an estimate. I accepted his estimate and he and Daniel came out the next day and completed the job to my satisfaction. Miguel is a very good brick mason and replaced the shoulders on both sides of my chimney."

"Did a great job rebuilding a chimney for me. They were able to match the brick well and the chimney looks like new. The office team is very responsive and quick to respond."

"It was a pleasure working with Rob. I wasn't sure if my chimney needed entirely rebuilt or just tuck-pointed. I had another company quote my work and they provided me a cost to entirely rebuild it. Rob came and looked at the chimney and gave me a cost just to repair it. His cost was 7x cheaper. I trusted his 30+ years in the industry and went with Fire It Up. I'm happy i chose them. Saved me a lot of money and the chimney looks great."

"I have built patios myself in the past so I felt comfortable selecting the blocks and creating the design. I purchased the blocks, the lights, and the pump and waterfall for the project. Harvey and team made the dream come to life and added their own spin on the design. I was happy to let them have some artistic choices as we went along."

"Mario and his team were great. Replaced chimney crown and did tuck point work. Would recommend them for chimney repairs."

"Easy to deal with and did the job"

"Rivera Concrete Paving's $8,500 bid became $11,000. Owner Magdiel Rivera adds charges after you're committed and doesn't follow through after payment. Cost increases: I mentioned roots upfront - he said equipment could handle it, then charged $450. Said grading unnecessary, then created false urgency claiming we HAD to grade before concrete. Later said could grade after. Added $1,800. Crew broke drainage pipes, charged me $250. Couldn't move AC condenser despite my asking during estimate. Payment tactics: Said pay "when satisfied." Then requested half early, then full payment before done. When I said work incomplete, he asked "Don't you trust me?" then broke promises. Broken promises: Walkway cured wrong, no follow-up. $1,800 grading included 3-month landscaping - no communication. Promised debris cleanup, later said not responsible. Damaged 4-month fence, couldn't repair properly, paid $300 after pressure. Dismisses costs at estimate, adds them later. Makes promises, then excuses."
