"This is a long overdue review and brought to my attention by Mike when he requested a review for a retaining wall just completed. Three years ago MFS Masonry reconstructed our pool deck and pool area. I did not know what exactly I wanted except that I wanted it to look great. He has such experience that he was able to suggest a lovely plan for the deck to surround our 16 by 32 in ground pool and river rock for landscaping. His crew worked tirelessly breaking up and removing concrete, shaping and reinforcing for the new concrete deck, and making it look perfect. They were prompt and respectful of our property and completed the job in two or three days. More to point, that pool job was the third time they did a job for us. Can't recommend them enough."

"Luis performed multiple projects including patching and painting damaged drywall, painting base of outdoor deck, placing saddles in a number of doorways, repairing damaged concrete floor and installing wood flooring, and adjusting the closing mechanism on a glass door by adjusting the hinges. "Original date of installation was Thursday, June 11. They called me to inform me that an opening was available on Monday, June 8. I took it. They came within the window they provided for installation. They did an outstanding job. It was very professional. They worked clean outside and inside. It was almost difficult to tell that the system had been in stalled. The grass was replaced so that it was difficult to see where the ground had been dug up. The whole crew was very polite. Once the system was installed, the team leader instructed me on how to use the system. The next morning the sprinklers came on and worked exactly as they were supposed to. The six zone, 25 sprinkler system watered every inch of my lawn and all the shrubbery and flowers around the house. My wife and I are very pleased. We would rate them A+ if we could. We certainly recommend them for anyone who wants this system put in by a great professional organization.

"We had a really good experience working with Hudson Contracting two years ago when we undertook a big facade restoration project on our landmarked Crown Heights row house and decided to reach out to Asm, the owner, about undertaking an interior project this winter/spring - namely gut renovating our kitchen and bathroom. Admittedly, Hudson Contracting isn't known for interior renovations; however, Asm proved to be a diligent, details-oriented and hands on contractor throughout this process. Upon opening our floors we found 7 rotten structural beams (a homeowner's nightmare!). Asm quickly negotiated a reasonable additional quote to undertake the process of replacing the beams and bringing our refinished basement, a causality of the process, back to it's pre-renovation state. For the kitchen, we enlarged the existing window (involving external facade work), upgraded and added new electric/plumbing, moved and expanded the kitchen entryway, combined two existing pantries into one and installed new flooring, walls, cabinetry and all the other little details that come with the process. The bathroom underwent a more traditional gut with new walls, floors and electrical/plumbing. We also swapped out the existing tub for a standing shower. Overall, the project took about 6 weeks and was very reasonably priced. Asm was on hand most days to check on things, which was comforting. My only complaint was that some of the work dragged out, because various workers were on other jobs and/or unavailable to come during the weekday (understandable since Hudson doesn't have electricians/plumbers on its payroll, but frustrating when you're living in a construction zone)."

"Foundation Experts determined the problem was much greater than current homeowner thought. They brought in a structural engineer to thoroughly examine the foundation and wrote up a detailed report, including extensive photographs, of the problem. They gave a written proposal for potential work to repair the problem according to township code. All of their work (three separate visits plus three detailed reports) was done in an astonishingly compressed time period, which enabled us to meet our required deadline to attempt to continue with purchase of the house, depending on current homeowners willingness to either repair the issues to our satisfaction or give us a purchase credit of the amount proposed by Foundation Experts. Had we not engaged their help, we could have unknowingly bought a house that needs approximately $40,000 worth of structural repair.
