"It went perfectly. Tommy made sure the sod was high quality. He was clear with me that it needed watering every 6 hours for two weeks. He installed his monitor. Now, two weeks later, the sod is perfect, green, healthy. He stopped by every few days to make sure all was going well. I highly recommend Urban Turf"

Small jobs welcome

"I hired Sam to power wash my 24 ft deck and ended up having him do a second deck, patio and the back of my house. His work was above and beyond my expectations. I hired him a second time to clean up my weeds and flower beds and again his work and the work of his crew was superior. They were very respectful of my property and went out of their way to satisfy me. I will definitely hire him again."

"Excellent. Mark Keys worked hard to get our house scheduled and repaired quickly so we could get it on the market to sell. They did great work at a great price. Took them two days to install 6 I-beam supports in the basement and to reinstall a window well."

"Paul was professional and responsive. He always made us aware of his project plan, which days he would be on the job, and what he was going to accomplish each day. He was also able to resolve some preexisting poor craftsmanship around a stone window header, and he filled some holes in the brick that had long ago contained some sort of attachments. He was conscientious about matching the new tuck pointing to existing work. We are very happy with the result and highly recommend Paul and his assistant! Price was comparable to another bid. Though, other bidders were reluctant to take on the job as completely as Paul, due to the very narrow spacing of our brick. Paul's solution was to grind out a wider gap for the mortar. Finally, Paul's clean up was great. There was a lot of dust from this job, and Paul was frequently vacuuming and cleaning up. He finished with a hose wash."

"Beverly and her crew did an excellent job on our landscaping project! We have a duplex that was in desperate need of some landscaping to up the curb appeal. It had rail ties that were falling apart and no structure or shape to the flower beds. They were able to remove the rail ties and create a nice shape/structure using landscaping blocks to create a retaining wall and shape the flower beds. Beverly was prompt to let us know when service would begin and showed up right on time! We are thrilled with how it turned out! Thank you Beverly and Crew!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Grain Valley, MO

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
