"I had them install a handful of new light fixtures as well as add an electrical outlet behind our stove. I was very impressed with them and would use them again. They paid attention to the details. They came when they said they would. and they cleaned up their messes behind themselves. It was a great experience."

At Corley, we focus on skills and relational training for our technicians to give them all the "tools" that they need to be successful. We use a combination of trade organization training programs, in house trainers, and other outside technical classes. Corley provides quality, state of the art equipment such as electronic leak detection, video pipeline inspection systems, and rolling warehouses. Vehicles stocked with most parts needed for the plumbing and electrical service and repair business. All of this is to offer you the services of the best plumbing, air and electric company in Greenville, SC. Also serving Mauldin, Simpsonville, Travelers Rest, Easley, Piedmont & Marietta, SC.
"We had Russell Smith from Corley out to check out a T&P valve water heater leak that another plumber had diagnosed but never fixed. Russell quoted us a price to replace the valve(s) but also mentioned that our water heaters were 12.5 years old and may need to be replaced fairly soon. We decided to go ahead and replace both water heaters at a total cost of $4174 with a 12-year parts and labor warranty from Corley and a $19.68 monthly charge for their Service Partner Plan. The retail value of the water heaters, as I realized later, is about $600 each and the wholesale value is about $500 each. So, the installation cost and maintenance fees were around $3,000. Russell returned to replace both water heaters. After he left, we noticed that we still had a leak of about 2 - 2.5 oz/minute and the Corley dispatcher agreed to have Russell return to see if he could locate the leak. When he returned he noted that our water pressure was around 84 psi but he was somewhat reluctant to address the high water pressure issue, citing changes might result in additional leaks. Russell was unable to find any leak in the system. The next day, my wife and I woke up to find that we had no hot water. I checked and one of the two hot water circuit breakers was tripped so I contacted Corley to have them come out to check it out. Russell returned to find a leak in the hot water supply line just above our recirculation valve. He replaced the rubber washer and then proceeded to check out the two water tanks. Russell then discovered that the tank below the recirculation value seemed to be fine but the wiring for the other tank appeared to be completely fried and the tank needed to be replaced. Russell disconnected that tank but, afterwards, the first tank still tripped the circuit breaker. Russell fixed that issue and disconnected the power to the second water heater. My wife and I were then able to use the single tank until a replacement could be made. Russell arranged to have someone from Corley check out the electrical system and replace the defective water heater on Tuesday. Sean came out on Tuesday and replaced the defective water heater and also addressed the high pressure issue. Our leak and high water pressure issues were resolved! Thank you Sean. We will stay with Corley for now but the fact that we had to have four visits from them to replace our water heaters seemed a bit much. My time is valuable and it just adds to the high cost of their visits."

Let Us Be Your Local Go to For Your Roofing Needs. Residential & Light Commercial Roofing - Schools, Strip-malls & Multi-family (apartments, duplexes & condos). New, Replacements and Repairs.
"Exercise caution when considering Pisgah Roofing & Restoration, particularly for insurance-related repairs. While the quality of their actual work was good, their project management and communication were severely lacking. After a pipe burst caused damage to our home in January 2024, we contracted with Pisgah for repairs. Be aware that they require you to sign an exclusive contract before beginning insurance negotiations. What followed was a 10-month ordeal marked by: -Five months just to finalize the initial estimate, while our home continued to suffer water damage -Multiple unanswered calls and emails -A four-month delay between paying the 50% deposit and work beginning -Incomplete work followed by payment demands -Final repairs completed only after extensive follow-up The construction crews were professional and their workmanship was solid. However, the company's poor communication, disorganization, and apparent lack of urgency made this a frustrating experience. Had we not been bound by contract, we would have sought services elsewhere. Note: I later discovered previous reviews describing similar experiences with extensively delayed work after deposits were paid. Consider this carefully before signing their binding contract. Furthermore the only moments when Pisgah was taking the initiative to reach out to us was when they were owed money. At no other point during the entire project did they make first attempts to call or contact us in anyway. TLDR: communication and project mgmt was abhorrent and basically non-existent. Project took 9 months to finish despite being a small home repair."

"On 6/1/2022 a technician shows up for a water leak under my home, the tech was friendly, on time, and professional, in appearance. I point out where the leak is, after 30 minutes he says the main pipe is probably plugged which created additional weight, possibly stretching supports and as a result the shower drain pipe had been disconnected. He said he would write up a quote, and I was shocked to find it was for 10k. I refused service but asked for a detailed write up for what needed because I was paying an $89.00 Regular Service Fee (29-89) and another fee, MISC level 1 1 which was $97.00 for god knows what. Here is the write up I received from the technician.(More commentary below) "END TASKS*/ upon arrival customer had leak in crawl space and shower has disconnected the reason this disconnected is due to the weight of the sewer line this line is full of water and when wisher is ran it backs up out of this line causing a leak this line has fallen in ,multiple spots and is sagging in multiple spots this is abs piping. I gave options to repipe both bathrooms and then after run camera to locate septic tank. The reason customer is not backing up into house is because everything comes out this shower drain. I gave customer the options for repipe he did not want to continue with any work there is not a cleanout outside for me to camera this line and cannot locate where line exits home for ability to locate septic tank. Simple math tells me I could pay a guy 100$ an hour for 97 hours, or 2 full weeks and then some at that rate. I thought to myself, ok, he does not want to do the work so he priced himself out. I am ok with that, but the business owner should be made aware of what is going on and cut these guys loose because there are plenty of other options out there. I am also shocked at the lack of detail for pricing, for 10k I need know specifically what is being done, on a line by line basis. After all, I paid almost 200 dollars and I would like to think I am owed that much. One last detail, I did call in and spoke to "Angel" who said she would relay my concerns and that someone would be calling me back. I am not holding my breath."

The physical construction phase typically requires two to four months following the receipt of all necessary approvals. At the same time, the entire development process from initial concept to operation generally spans three to five years. Factors affecting the timeline include site conditions, workforce size, and project scope. The majority of the development period involves securing regulatory approvals, completing environmental studies, and establishing utility interconnection agreements.
Developing a solar farm requires an average of $400,000 to $500,000 per acre for equipment and installation, excluding property acquisition expenses. Based on industry averages, a six-acre installation typically supports one megawatt of capacity, capable of powering roughly 164 homes. Project economics vary significantly depending on whether land must be purchased or leased, with substantial regional variations in property values.
A solar installation can generate an average of $14,000 to $40,000 annually per megawatt, with variations based on electricity rates and contract terms. Annual maintenance expenses of approximately $15,000 per megawatt must be factored into financial projections. Most facilities operate under long-term agreements spanning 15 to 25 years, providing revenue stability throughout the project lifecycle.
A 20-acre property can support a viable commercial solar installation. Based on industry averages, this area could accommodate approximately three to five megawatts of capacity, sufficient to power 600 to 1,000 residences. This scale falls within the commercial solar farm category, offering enough capacity to achieve reasonable economies of scale while remaining manageable for smaller developers or community-based projects.
