"Mike from Greenhaven was very pleasant to work with. Did a nice job in a timely fashion and a great price. He’s new in the business and he wants to make sure he gets it done properly which was much appreciated on our end. Definitely would recommend him."

"I recently had my shingle roof replaced and I?m very happy with the results. The team was professional, punctual, and completed the job efficiently. The quality of the work is excellent, and the new roof looks great. They kept the work area clean and communicated well throughout the process. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a roof replacement."

"Once Taylor started the job, the workers finished it over three consecutive days. In other words, they did not start and stop it to go elsewhere for another job.  We were told it could take up to 5-7 days but it took only three.  Driveway looks great and is experiencing its first winter with sand and salt--fine so far.  <br /> Quality seems excellent. Price was in line with other offers.  Also, the company responded quickly to my initial call for an estimate and sent its saleperson out to carefully assess the driveway and discuss options.  He was great.  Other companies often did not call me back even after I called several times and politely waited for return calls. <br /> I highly recommend Taylor Construction & Landscaping company for driveway work. <br />"

"I can't say enough about Justin and his team. He added on a patio to an existing walkway, installed a firepit, and finished off a retaining wall. Justin is extremely professional, communicated very well throughout the entire project, and his prices are very reasonable. He did an excellent job matching the new paves to the existing pavers, which is not an easy job. I have already received so many compliments on my new patio and several neighbors asking me who did the work. I would highly recommend Northeast Hardscapes and Masonry!"

"Each time I use Snow's I am really happy. This is a family business, from the Grandfather who delivers my mulch who always come promptly, puts the mulch just where I want it and asks about my welfare (he worries I am a woman on my own, so sweet) to the office staff and estimators that are either family or feel like one. They have helped me visualize projects and helped me keep the costs reasonable. These folks are professionals, reasonably priced and will give you just what you need."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Granby, MA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
