Since unit was so old, they brought owner out of retirement to evaluate; he said he probably installed the unit in the 70's. They replaced motor and also did a Freon check and found it to be 1# down, but had to use old style Freon, which was expensive, but fixed the unit like new. Since the unit was so old, they did not try to sell me a new style, reason; they don't make them like mine anymore. Very impressed with company and repair promptness."
