"If you need a wired security camera installation, Neil and his team at AV Solutions is by far the most thorough, professional and INCREDIBLY reasonably priced option in the entire Grand Valley! I was so fortunate to find him after multiple frustrating attempts to use Best Buy, who gave me the runaround for two weeks until they finally admitted that they weren't willing or capable of completing the job. I then contacted multiple other Audio Video installation companies in Grand Junction. Some said they could do it, but quoted me astronomical installation prices of approximately $1000.00 PER CAMERA. Others simply rattled off a laundry list of reasons of why they couldn't or wouldn't be able to do it. Then, by the grace of God I found Neil at AV Solutions. I explained what I wanted done, and after stating my request, every single response from him was nothing but upbeat, positive, reassuring and encouraging, with simple explanations on how it could be achieved, what obstacles we might run into, followed by solutions on how he and his team could overcome them if they arose. "Working with Rush security has been highly disappointing and mediocre at best. We had multiple missed appointments with their technician until I put my foot down and said I'd cancel service if they did not show up. He started to show up after that, but just for a couple days and in my opinion still did subpar work. At first, the alarm system would not register away, only "stay". Then the doorbell camera was constantly ringing even when no one was there. The motion detector also does not work. Next, we paid $400 for equipment and a $75 monthly monitoring. I wish I would just gone with Ring because they are cheaper but I wanted to support local. When we asked to cancel we were told we'd have to pay a 1400 cancellation fee to recoup the loss of having an electrician come out and for the 'low' $75 monitoring and to buyout the contract. Initially, we were told they offered no contract service, which was the only reason we went with them. I did the math and that 1400 fee would total out to about 1.5 years of subpar service. No thanks. We took the loss but you do not have to, go with someone else or just install your own alarm"
