"Mr. Hamby was excellent! He very quickly diagnosed the problem with my leaking skylight and pointed out some preventive maintenance issues with my metal roof. He quoted a reasonable price and was back in a couple of days to complete the work. My leak was repaired the first time and my roof is in better shape than before. I am very happy with everything.  My house is gray and I had planned to have "safe" black roof installed.  Yilber suggested a brown roof.  I was very reluctant.  He wasn't pushy, but he assured me that I wouldn't regret the choice.  I love the brown roof!  It gives the home a rich, sophisticated look.  <br /> There was significant damage to the interior caused by the damaged roof.  You can't even tell it was repaired.  They did a really nice job matching the stencil pattern on the ceiling.  <br /> The chimney looks great too.  <br /> Given all the work that was done, the price was very reasonable. It was more than what my insurance company estimated.  But, Yilber was able to justify the work and cost to the insurance adjuster.  I would recommend this company others looking for a roofer and other contracting work."

"I initially contacted Hewatt Roofing on line. Mrs Hewatt responded quickly and we set up an appointment for Mr Hewatt to look at my roof and provide a quote for replacing it. He came the next day - I was not home but he was able to come up with a quote and called me that afternoon. After accepting the quote, we arranged for a day and time for them to do the work. The crew was at my house before the sun came up, delivering the shingles and decking plywood and other supplies. They immediately started removing the old shingles. I was amazed at how cleanly they did this - I went to work at 8:30 AM and they had removed the shingles from most of the roof - Mr Hewatt did say that they would replace old and damaged decking, at additional cost per sheet of plywood, which I understood and agreed to (I did have several leaks, so I knew that there probably was some damage). They installed a new ridge vent, replaced 5 sheets of decking, arranged to have some gutter replaced that had been damaged by a fallen tree and provided a 5-year warranty on all workmanship. By 2:30 that afternoon, the job was finished, all the old roof materials were cleaned away and gone, and I had a new roof. Even the old roofing nails were cleared away - I have found only 1 since then. I was very impressed with their attention to leaving the yard clean and with no evidence of having torn off an old roof. They never asked for a deposit and, after they e-mailed a final invoice, I mailed a check. It's been a year since the work was done and no leaks, no loose shingles, and I am very happy with my roof. Mr and Mrs Hewatt were very helpful, punctual and knowledgeable, answered all my questions and performed exactly as promised. I would highly recommend Hewatt Roofing. <br />"

On the day of installation, a full cadre of Hopewell roofers arrived and swarmed the roof, completing the job in record time and cleaning up with great care to remove all debris and nails. "Good morning! I see that I have the same problem as other customers. I used this company for new roof and gutters several years ago. I had a roof put on my current residence in 2017. The contractor they sent started the job then disappeared for several days saying that he was in the middle of another job. They would arrive late and the reasoning would be they were coming from Suwanee. If that was an issue why take a job in the Decatur/Lithonia area? My roof had been leaking for several weeks now. I have had 1 appointment rescheduled and the contractor was a no show Sunday 1/12. I have now left several messages with no return call. I'm not sure what has happened to this company over the years but the customer service sucks and the receptionist should be replaced. . . No telephone etiquette! Buyer Beware! I will update review when/if I get reponse"

Responds promptly to text and kept me informed through the entire process. The crew working on my roof were very polite, hard working and you’d never know they had been to my house.
