"Trent did a fantastic job remodeling our bathroom, exhibiting precision workmanship with having to ensure the walls were square and plumb, as well as leveling the uneven basement floor, and putting in a cool curved shower door. He put marble tile in the shower, making sure each tile was perfectly aligned with the others to get a mirror affect from a distance. He then graciously handled a curveball from the customer (that’s me!) when I decided to change the color of the grout AFTER one wall was done. He obliged and re-grouted to my satisfaction, with no harm done to the beautiful marble tiles!"

"Very good work, had issue with garage door, he was able to get a garage door guy for me."

"Mr. Moyer was able to come at relatively short notice (we had just found out that our new furniture was arriving earlier than we expected) to remove wallpaper and paint our family room and hallway. I had the option to purchase the paint and chose to do so. With the removal of the wallpaper there was some damage to the walls, but it was repaired to perfection! Their attention to detail was impressive as well as the cleanup afterward. He was very professional and seemed to take real pride in his work. I hope to be able to have him tackle our living room this next year to also remove paper and paint."

"I was called immediately after posting on Angie's list and got service the next day. Technician was professional and honest and asked me specifics. He fixed it promptly and encouraged contact if any issues arise. I think will be my new go to for my aging garage opener."

"Very professional and punctual service. Timely communication before, during, and after the project - they even communicated with my insurance, saving me extra steps and time. Great choices in the replacement materials, willing to describe any/all of the problems and solutions. He was even willing to meet with the insurance inspector before I hired them to determine the issues involved. Everything was in writing and I was given copies of everything. The labor team was efficient and thorough, completing the work accurately and timely, and cleaning up all materials after the work was done. I believe that this company must be one of the best in their field and would definitely hire them again and refer them to a close friend."

"All went well except for 1 damaged door, which they deducted a small amount for, not enough to replace the door, but not unreasonable."

"On May 10th my a/c wouldn’t start. I am of the age of hot flashes and not having a/c is not a good thing so I called handy appliance repair and the owner came right out and got my a/c working"

"We're always very happy with what Bernie does for us. It looks at least as good as what my dad does, and nothing he's done has broken on us or caught fire or anything. I did have to put B for responsiveness because, while he is usually really, really quick and on top of things (especially over email) he was a bit busier this summer, and I can't lie about that. But a busy handyman is a popular handyman.
We love two things about Bernie.
1) He knows about/can do/advise us on almost anything around our house.
2) He really tries to do right by us.  Electricians, car guys, gutter-guard guys, insulation guys ... guys are always trying to take me and my husband for a ride because we are clearly clueless, but not Bernie. He's a decent, nice guy."

"Great customer service, very informative, and quick response time! I would definitely be coming back to them for my locksmith needs! 24/7 availability was a blessing. If it was not for them I would have been stuck in the cold."

"It went extremely well. The technician from Illinois Garage Repair was very professional and did an excellent job in replacing the garage door opener. He even went "beyond the call of duty" by programming all of my remote controls."
