"George came to us highly recommended and his work didn't disappoint. He was efficient, knowledgeable, completed the job on time and was always professional. We received 5 bids to resurface the pool and change the tile, Sunshine Pools wasn't the cheapest and by far not the most expensive bid, but it was just right. Communication was very important to us. George kept us informed about the processes at the beginning, during construction and at job completion. George is very detail oriented was attentive to our requests. He was alway present at the job site when work was being done. We would definitely hire George again for any pool repair."

"We've been going to B&W for about 15 years. Bill and his brother Wayne are great, personable guys and seem to run a straight, honest shop. They're quick and call you as soon as your car is ready.

Just like the practice of medicine, auto repair can be trial & error by nature, and these guys do their best to make things right, even if there are complications, like a new brakes that squeak or a leak that comes and goes. If you're not happy with something they'll redo it. And It's a good feeling when you bring your old car in for an oil change and the shop calls back 45 minutes later and tells you it's ready and that they couldn't find anything else that needs fixing. Our old beater has almost 125K on it and B&W has kept it running fine. Recently, we needed a new windshield and B&W referred us to a local auto glass place that turned out to be quite reasonable and seemed to do a good job.

One caution: There have been a lot of auto break-ins in this neighborhood, so if you own any car audio equipment whatsoever, you should pick up your vehicle the same day it's ready and not leave it on 26th or Shotwell overnight. During the day, no problem, but we have been the victim of several break-ins and hit-and-runs overnight."

"We brought in our kitchen floor plan and described our needs for the different kinds of lights we needed (for the ceiling, above the counter, above the kitchen nook, and accent spots). The rules for kitchen fluorescent lighting had just changed and they already understood them, unlike other lighting stores we visited. All the wattages of the fluorescent and incandescent lights had to add up to meet the rules, and the various styles of fixtures had to be visually compatible. They spent time with us and were very patient as we visited several times, looked at floor models, made changes in our plan, and finally ordered fixtures. They were always knowledgeable about the fixtures and bulbs, and were able to answer our questions about glare, bulbs, fixture quality, etc. The excellent staff has been there for many years."

We sell lamp shades in hardback, silk, glass and mica, and have over 2000 lamp shades in stock. We do repair and restoration of most lighting fixtures - incandescent, halogen, and fluorescent, from chandeliers to floor and table lamps.\nThe very best way to choose a lamp shade for your floor or table lamp is to bring the fixture in for use to custom fit for you - it's a bit of a hassle to bring your lamp in, but we think you'll find it's worth the effort.

FAQs for swimming pool remodeling projects in Graton, CA

You can modernize your pool by adding features like underwater LED lighting, mosaic tiles, or a beach entry for easy access. Incorporating amenities like fire pits, waterfalls, or installing energy-efficient equipment can also give your pool a contemporary upgrade.

To make your pool more energy-efficient, consider resurfacing it with a lighter color to reduce heating needs and evaporation. Installing a variable-speed pump can significantly lower energy consumption. Switching to low-energy LED lights not only saves power but also enhances ambiance. Additionally, updating old plumbing pipes can improve efficiency and reduce water loss.

A pool remodel typically takes between four and eight weeks to complete. The exact duration depends on factors such as the size of your pool, the complexity of the renovations, and the availability of materials and contractors. Planning ahead and coordinating with a professional pool remodeler can help ensure your project stays on schedule.

Remodeling your pool can be a worthwhile investment, especially if you plan to sell your home. A pool remodel can increase your property's value and enhance its appeal to potential buyers. Upgrades like modern finishes, energy-efficient systems, and added features like lighting or fountains can transform an outdated pool into a backyard oasis.

Resurfacing a pool involves applying a new finish to the existing surface to address cosmetic issues and minor structural concerns. Replastering is a more extensive process that replaces a deeper layer of the pool's structural base, impacting both stability and appearance. After replastering, you can choose from various finishes to enhance the design and longevity of your pool.
