"We contracted with Ms. Lily and the MA Landscaping team to redo our back patio on Capitol Hill in DC. The original patio had a dilapidated fence, an uneven brick floor, and overgrown shed. The moment that Ms. Lily stepped into the space, she had a vision for safeguarding the historic nature of the patio while integrating a modern look. She was receptive to our ideas and offered her own, which allowed us to come to a great combined vision. She didn't try to oversell us or pressure us into taking dramatic, expensive changes that weren't important to us. Throughout the project, Ms. Lily was hands-on, responsive, and receptive. The work was completed in 2 weeks. Her workers were friendly and when unexpected developments arose, they quickly sought our input as well as hers. Ms. Lily visited the property each day to inspect the progress. The final result was a patio that exceeded our expectations! We were thrilled by not only the end result, but also the journey to it. Many thanks to Ms. Lily and her team - we would absolutely recommend them!"

"FM&H Brothers was very professional. The company main contact scheduled an appointment to review and assess the lawn, and provided a quote for the services needed (trimming the Hedge bushes, laying down grass feed, and mulching the trees). The company informed me when they would be able to perform the services needed, and they showed up as agreed. The lawn was amazing!! My attendance was not required, since I had to be in the office. Once the services were completed, the company sent me photos of the completed work, and my yard looked like a complete new yard. If you are looking for someone to cater, and professionally landscape your yard, I truly recommend FM&H Brothers Landscapes."

"Lazaro and Carlos were wonderful. Lazaro was very patient and helpful while selecting plants. Lazaro was fantastic with design. Both were fantastic to work. They designed a front and back garden and they look amazing! I highly recommend Horizon Landscaping and will be a return customer. Thank you Angie for the recommendation!"

"I've been with them I know 4 years.  You're gonna have a hiccup every now and then.  There was in an announcement they gave me for mulching and everything, but we got it straightened out.  I'm not sure how long that's gonna be, but we got it straightened out.  They're very good.   They're a very good family ran business.  Two brothers are running it now, Matt & Rick; and both of them you know, they're just good guys.  They do an excellent job.  Matt, who oversees the mowing; I can't say enough good things about him because he's outstanding.  One thing I've noticed about this particular landscaping company; they care you know, they wanna know if you're not happy.  Especially Matt; I think Rick does landscaping, but as far as the mowing and all this other stuff.  Matt's the one that I have most of, well actually all of my correspondence is with Matt.  He has a crew that does all the work.  The cost is weekly.  On price, I think for the size of yard; A.  On punctuality, well now sometimes they come maybe on a Wednesday.  I think if I set a date, if I said Matt I want the crew here on Thursday no exceptions; I think he'd do it.  I didn't have them mow last week because it was too hot and the yard didn't need it.  So they came Monday, when they would have usually been here Wednesday or Thursday before.  So, it's okay.  The only reason why I went trying, I was just checking prices because I'm alone and I'm trying to watch how I spend the money, but nah.  They're just good guys.  They are a good company and I'm speaking 98.9% regarding Matt because that's the one I use the most.  I hope he knows it, but it never hurts for someone else to tell him.  He's just been very good as far as my relationship with him on business; it's just been outstanding.  I just have a good relationship with him and I hope it continues because I don't know what I'd do.  I'm sure there's other good ones out there, but that's just one thing I don't have to worry about.  I'd be glad for him to know it, because as I said I think he already knows how much I appreciate him and how much I think of him, but it's always good for him to know that I'm willing to tell others too.  It's hard work.  You know landscaping; I know they get on mowers and I know they ride, but let me tell ya.  It's hot out there so I appreciate 'em."

"We had some trouble scheduling this service- they decided their schedule very last minute and communication about weather and re-scheduling proved difficult. However, once the crew showed up, they really blew us away. Our yard had once been really beautifully landscaped but it changed owners and was left to become really overgrown with weeds and ivy. My husband and I both work full time and struggled to get it under control when we moved in and after two summers and non-stop weeding (which didn't really work anyway), we decided to get some help. They came in and not only pulled the weeds but they dug up and removed tons of ivy, hauled out old branches and bricks and stones, and took out all the existing leaves and debris out of all of the planting beds. When we got back, there was just nice clean dirt where a weedy nightmare has once been. I really can't believe they were able to do so much in one day and for a really reasonable price. It let us get a nice blank slate and our yard is so much more manageable now."

"Wonderful crew, Edin was very helpful in explaining, and removing the debris. My yard was over grown and needed TLC. Him and his 2 man crew did an amazing job!"

"Fairfax Contractors did an AMAZING job on my patio!!! My neighbors are now wanting them to build their patios. Ram was such a gentleman and so awesome to work with. He made so many accommodations for me, from timing, design change, and exchanging my stone to get the job done. His manager Glen was also wonderful and helped me personally pick out my pavers, which the choice resulted in a much better paver selection. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Their pricing was the best out of all the contractors that I looked at. You can't go wrong. Also, the patio came out much better than I would have ever imagined. I highly recommend them for your home needs. Choose Fairfax Contractors, you will be happy that you did!"

"Troy and his team delivered as promised. He was on time, did a wonderful job and the yard was left perfectly groomed and clean. I have gotten numerous compliments from neighbors as they passed by my house. I would highly recommend this company for any landscaping design and installation work."

"We contacted Northern Virginia Landscaping shortly after my family moved into our new home in Alexandria. We wanted to be able to use the outdoor space for our kids to run around, but there was a big problem, there was eroding retaining walls, re-bar sticking up from cinder blocks, old bricks, and the land sloped a significant amount to limit functionality of a play area. We did not know much about retaining walls or how we could possible build the space for what we would like to do, with also keeping in mind some possibilities for expansion in the future. After the initial estimate we were able to finally see how the project could be accomplished, what type of drainage the walls needed to have, how high the walls should be and how we could transform this treacherous landscape into an area where are family can play for the future. We were very satisfied at the end of the project to have a more level area to use, that is safe, and has given us opportunities to expand upon for the future for our family."

"I worked with Pat, Phillip, and Felippe. All of them were great and care about their clients’ needs. Patrick quoted a fair price in comparison to other landscapers. I received excellent service, and more importantly, Pat made suggestions along the way to minimize the cost of my project. I am a very happy customer!"
