THANKS to Suzzy, Sharese, Dominic, and (work crew) Jay & Edwin!! // DETAILED REVIEW // I had obtained a total of three quotes before deciding who to select (including one from a very well-known "Kingstowne" home services company that clearly has a 99.5% unresponsive demeanor like "take it or leave it -- we've too busy to respond to your questions or calls after 6 weeks"). Power Wash Plus was the clear choice for my wife & me! They were very patient and responsive in answering the few questions I had. I had a comfortable feeling very early on that I could trust them. The estimate and scheduling was handled through Suzzy & Sharese. Along the way, I spoke with "Dominic" about our desired stain color. Our HOA had some very specific restrictions on the color palette. Before they had me return the signed estimate, Dominic thoroughly and patiently explained the pros / cons concerning the darker stain we wanted. He also explained how they'd prepare the area to protect from overspray (this is also clearly, completely explained in the estimate). The cleaning was done in mid / late October, and staining was completed yesterday (Sat 21 Nov). In all cases, they made positive contact by email and phone / voicemail to ensure I knew when they arriving the next day. When the cleaning crew arrived in October, I was hosting several work meeting online that day, and couldn't answer the door. However, the PWP the schedulers and also the estimate had clearly explained we didn't need to be at home during the cleaning or staining -- we just needed to have any furniture cleared off of the deck before they arrived. Unfortunately, I don't know the names of the folks who did the cleaning, but they did an A++ job. The deck looked so good afterwards, I was thinking "Wow! Do we even need to get it stained?? It looks great!" Of course, it was going to need staining and sealing to protect the wood. The staining was done by Jay and Edwin. The called me just as they arrived, and I came outside to greet them (they had masks and we remained socially distanced). They were just really, really nice / sharp / polite guys. They were extremely respectful of our home, and of our neighbor's home / property as well. Our home has a bathroom on the ground floor, and I ensured they knew they could enter that door to use the bathroom whenever needed. Before the staining work, Jay and Edwin took great care in preparing the area using cardboard to protect the windows, plastic tarps to protect our ground floor patio (concrete), and lots of masking tape as need to protect certain fixtures. They also realized that I was selecting a very dark stain color -- before starting, they confirmed with Dominic (who called me again) just to double-check that is what we wanted. I really appreciate their care in doing all of the prep work and confirmations. Most importantly, they did a very THOROUGH, PROFESSIONAL job with the staining, itself. Before leaving, Jay and Edwin rang the doorbell and asked me to take a look at the work to ensure it was okay. It was so fantastic that I tipped them a lot right there! I was really pleased with the outcome. BOTTOM LINE: Very pleased overall, and will definitely look up Power Wash Plus again from future deck cleaning / staining, or power washing. Thanks very much! HINT: When I notified my next door neighbor, he reminded me to also SHUT OFF OUR HVAC unit during that work, since the company would probably cover the top / fan of the outside unit with a tarp during cleaning / staining. I did that -- great tip that saved me from stressing the compressor unit."

"Prouty did a great job on the chimney liners and ultimately the chimney cap repair. I rated them a C on responsiveness and professionalism specifically for an issue related to finishing the chimney cap in April when the weather conditions allowed for the repair. We financed the project over a six month period. I had requested that they provide pictures of the finished work including the chimney cap. Other companies we have used in the past provide before and after pictures. However, we were told that because they had already completed the chimney cap repair, they would not return to take pictures. It wasn't until we withheld the final payment that they agreed to return and provide pictures; only to find out that the work had not been completed. They were apologetic about the error in the paperwork, but I can't help thinking if we had not withheld the final payment, we would have been unaware that the repair had not been completed. I believe I would hire them again, but would have to make sure to verify the completed work."

"I can't say enough positive things about my experience with Phoenix. If you're looking for a quality fence at a reasonable price look no further. Jeff and Karen were incredible to work with. We had 5 different companies come out for quotes and Jeff's thorough, no-nonsense explanation of fence types and prices made it an easy choice. When we decided to switch a portion of the fence from picket to picket w/ cap-board, I called Karen expecting the quote to be more expensive but she and Jeff said they could do it for the same price. Despite being told it was a two week wait, I got a call from Karen that they could install it the same week. Both Jeff and Karen are extremely professional and their communication made the project a stress-free, enjoyable experience. The workers, who were all brothers, were incredible. I was shocked by the speed with which they tore down the old chainlink fence, which was installed 60 years ago and had literally grown through the trunk of two trees. They methodically installed the new 218 square foot fence in one day, making sure everything was done properly. When the job was done, one worker insisted on grabbing a tool and coming back an hour later to remove a very stubborn old fence post. This level of detail and craftsmanship is hard to find nowadays. The fence has transformed our backyard and we couldn't be more happy!"
