"I hired Competitive Painters for a kitchen and bathroom renovation (cabinet refacing, staining, and new countertops). The countertop subcontractor was excellent — professional, clean, and detailed. Unfortunately, the experience with the owner, Robert, was the opposite. While his two workers were great, Robert constantly cut corners, made excuses, and said his goal was to be “good enough.” There was no attention to detail, and quality clearly wasn’t a priority — just getting it done fast. He was also condescending when I asked about uneven or missed areas. Staining is not his strength, and the results show it. I let them finish just to move on, but now have to repaint the cabinets. Would not recommend Competitive Painters for cabinet refinishing or kitchen remodeling."

"Kenny did a great job. I would recommend him for your playset and basketball goal needs. On replacing the pad pn the bottom of our Gorilla basketball goal, Kenny knows what he is doing. I would recommend utilizing a professional on this as he explained that when you install the padding on the goal you are drilling very close to glass backboard and iy could shatter the glass if you are not careful/don't know what you are doing."

He replaced our old rusty mailbox with both a new mailbox and wood post. Jimmy even took the metal numbers from our old mailbox, painted them, and placed them on the other side of our wood post at no charge. I also avoided the Whirlpool contract repair company that doesn't appear on Angies List but was one of the worst companies rated by Checkbook. He carefully assessed potential causes of the oven problem we were having and figured out we needed to replace a control board. Having done the diagnosis in the morning, he secured the part from the distributor and returned in the afternoon to do the install. Terrific service provided by a personable service provider. Glad to have him to turn to in the event of other major appliance problems."
