"Originally I was looking for someone to give me an estimate for some work inside my house, of the three people who came out to give me estimates Jim Pittman and Brianna (Office Manager and assistant) were the most professional and friendly people to talk to. Jim was right up front about why what I wanted to do would not work the way I was seeing it. I asked him to go ahead and give me an estimate making the design changes needed. I ended up having only one of the projects done and hired Pittman Construction because I was most impressed with him, Brianna, their professionalism and honesty. So when it came time to an outside wall demolished, a deck built, installation of a door, side window, and doggie door I went straight to Pittman and had them do the work. Jim Pittman and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Even after I had to reschedule the work to fit my schedule, twice, Jim continued to treat me like I was his most important customer. Due to starting the work in November Jim couldn't find the redwood I wanted for the deck. Redwood would not be available again for weeks. He and his office manager immediately got on the phone and found material that actually turned out better for me. He showed me samples of composite deck material that would be maintenance free and and would look just as good as the stained redwood. I agreed and he was able to start working on the deck without any interruptions. The guys were always on time, pleasant respectful and professional. Being an older single woman and not wanting to be taken advantage of, I had questions as the crew was working and they would stop what they were doing long enough to listen to my question and not once was I made to feel like I had interrupted them. When the work was done I tried to find something wrong with the work, nothing, I found nothing wrong. His estimates for the work he has already done and the work he will be doing in January are fair and reasonable. Quality work, fair pricing, professional, friendly and so easy to work with, why wouldn't I hire him to remodel my bathroom? "Our toilet plugged up and we couldn't get it unclogged with home tools, so we called Mike at about 10 AM. He got here within about 1 1/2 hours, and with the proper tool it took about 5 minutes to fix the toilet. I appreciated the promptness (for obvious reasons - we're a one-bathroom house), the good service and professionalism and Mike's friendliness. We have used him for other things in the past, and will never hesitate to call him again, not to recommend him to anyone with out reservation. He does plumbing and small electrical, and other general handyman work. <br />"
