"Just had our very-unattractive kitchen cabinets painted by Walla Painting. They did great work, communicated with me every step of the way, were neat and clean, went the extra mile—all the things you look for in a contractor. And now the cabinets look great! Definitely recommend Walla."

"Greg the Painter answered our call for his professional help. We were in over our heads with two projects for our new home. We hired him because of his expertise in using a roller and brush. Our two projects that he completed in a remarkably timely fashion are stunning! Thank you!"

"The project went very well, and our teens now have the best bathroom in the house. We went from a pink tiled bath with an old, single sink vanity (pink, also), pink tub and pink toilet to an updated bath with a separate toilet / bath area, plenty of built in storage, and two sink areas. Tom has done many projects for us and all have been above expectations. Tom is great about making sure the details are done right. I had specific ideas about what I wanted in this bath project, and they were executed flawlessly."

"If I could give a rating below zero I would. Limpus Cabinets installation of the rustic alder Shiloh Cabinets manufactured by W.W. Wood Products was poor. None of the cabinet doors were adjusted so they would close properly. Limpus Cabinets handed me the instructions on how to adjust the cabinet doors and told me it was my responsibility to adjust the cabinet doors. I had to hire Spiceland Wood Products to come and adjust the cabinet doors which took about 4 hours and cost $225. The crown molding over on of the cabinets was cut in 2 pieces and looked terrible. I ended up having to pay Limpus Cabinet $379.85 to fix the crown molding. Also, the end piece on the island was not attached properly and Spiceland Wood Products had to fix this issue. Josh Limpus said that Shiloh Cabinets did not have stain to fix scratches which turned out to not be true. I tried to get these issues resolved with Josh Limpus. Josh has ignored me for the entire time. I contacted Pam Rybilt with W.W. Wood Products and she said she would be in Indianapolis on Wednesday April 20, 2022 to help me adjust the cabinet doors. Pam never showed up and she stopped responding to my calls and texts. After Pam stopped responding to my texts and phone calls I contacted W.W. Wood Products and they were unwilling to do anything for me to resolve these issues. W.W. Wood Products stated they are just the cabinet manufacture, this was a Limpus Cabinet. The quality of the cabinets are so poor that I am considering removing all of the kitchen cabinets and having them replaced."

"We used this company 10 years ago for a standard shingled roof on our primary residence, detached garage and outbuilding and were very pleased with the work. We recently had a need for a custom 18' x 14' x 11' wood based, metal roof cover structure for our permanently parked travel trailer. We received a couple of quotes and landed with Edwin Holmes Roofing. The project was complete in less than 2 weeks and we're, once again, very pleased with their work."

FAQs for cabinets reface projects in Greenfield, IN

Absolutely. Refacing returns 65% to 80% of your investment at resale, and you get an updated kitchen right now. Because you’re not paying for new boxes or demo work, the price lands well below complete replacement but still delivers a fresh, custom look that buyers—and you—notice every time you walk in.

To trim costs, start by pricing a high-quality paint or gel stain instead of full refacing—stain alone can be one-third the price of full refacing. Keep existing hinges and pulls if they’re in good shape, and shop sales for sandpaper, primer, and sealer. The sweat equity is real, but so are the savings, and a careful DIY job can still leave your cabinets looking sharp for years to come.

A professional crew needs only three to five days to reface a standard kitchen, although a larger layout or intricate door style may add one to two days. Compare that with the several weeks a full cabinet swap can drag on. In other words, you get your space back fast, often before the paint on the new doors is even fully cured.

Yes, you can replace just the cabinet doors and drawer fronts without covering the cabinet boxes. Cabinet refacing involves installing new doors and drawer fronts while applying veneers to existing cabinet boxes. If you’re satisfied with the condition of your cabinets, swapping doors and drawer fronts reduces labor and materials, saving you time and cost. Always consult a professional to confirm compatibility and ensure a seamless, high-quality finish.

Most cabinet refacing projects do not require removing countertops because professionals can access doors and drawers around existing surfaces. However, if your countertop overhang prevents full access to the cabinet boxes, contractors may need to lift the countertop to install veneers properly temporarily. Discuss this with your refacing specialist during the on-site estimate so you know exactly what the project entails.
