"I needed a landscaper because my lawn was a mess (more weeds and moss than grass, it seemed), and water was seeping into the basement because of improper gutter drainage and soil grading. Oh, and there was a critter, possibly the skunk that was seen in the area, burrowing underground where there was a gap near my patio – ugh! I hired M&L because the quote was reasonably priced, and Leo was responsive, understanding and cooperative as my landscaping project evolved. The job he ended up doing included building a trench for the gutter downflow, re-grading the entire lawn, creating flowerbeds, installing a fence, doing concrete work (to keep that critter out!), and paving a small section of the yard to hold trash and recycling bins. Leo and his team showed up when they said they would, worked quickly and efficiently, and with the greatest attitude – all of them were hard-working and easy to deal with. I will definitely hire M&L again for future landscaping jobs, and I highly recommend them to others. My lawn now looks nice and neat, can't wait for the new grass to grow. Thank you, Leo and crew!"

"Repaired a very large set of brick steps. I had started the deconstruction and reconstruction but in over a month only completed 20% of the project. In 4 days 3 Brother's Masonry completed the project beautifully and even did some unrelated extra work for the quoted estimate. "The reason why we did not give 5 stars for this project: 1. The project materials deposited on our neighbors backyard. It took a long time to get someone from the company to come to move it to our lot. Still, he left some of it and we had to move it ourselves. 2. Despite our requests to start the noisy work at 8AM the work always started at 7:30AM. 3. The brick part of the porch was supposed to be pointed the project manager asked us to agree to remove the low brick wall and wanted to charge us $8K for it while pointing is more work intensive than removing the bricks. At the end he lowered the price but did not do the pointing on the remainder of the bricks that left in the supporting columns. We had to hire someone to do it and it cost us extra $950. 4. When the trash container removed from our backyard, we left with a lot of debris and again we needed to clean it ourselves."

"I hired Apex to do some finished carpentry on a basement finish he trimmed all the doors and windows, installed baseboard, installed wainscoting on the wet bar, and trimmed the outside door, I am very happy with the quality of his work, his quote was very reasonable, he was very responsive when I had questions, he showed up when he said he would and he cleaned up after himself, I will definitely use them again, Ken is going to be my go to guy for sure!"
