They installed a bathroom with a grinder pump for the sewage, built a closet for the pump, HVAC, and hot water heater which also created storage space for us. built a kitchenette, added bead board to existing walls, installed a ship lap ceiling, and replaced two exterior doors. The finishing details were more than we asked them to do, so it was a pleasant surprise when we came home to a staged basement. It was nice to have people go the extra mile since it is so hard to find hard workers these days. I highly recommend Handymack for all your home improvement needs. "We're remodeling our kitchen and wanted to save as much money as possible by doing most of the work ourselves.  After doing the electrical work and removing our walk-in pantry, we decided to put in all new drywall and to patch the ceiling ourselves.  However, we had absolutely no idea on how to plaster the ceiling and the walls without it looking like multiple puzzle pieces.  We called around and got multiple estimate.  Highnote came out the next day to give us an estimate.  Their price was the most reasonable. The mudding started the next day and they sanded it down the day after.  So basically, within 4 days of us initially calling them, we got an estimate, the work was done and finished.  I'm very happy with the end result. <br />"

"Mr. Aldridge was very professional and down to earth while talking with us concerning the work we needed completed and answered all questions that we had before the work was started. During the replacement, he would review the work that his workers were doing and anything that did not meet the work order and/or his approval, he had the workers redo and kept us updated on the work being done. The job was completed in a very reasonable time frame and all the debris was removed. We are very pleased with Mr. Aldridge and recommend his company highly. "Bobby is outstanding to work with. He stays in touch. He works when he says he will. He is extremely detail oriented as am I. I paint and mural and because of bronchial/asthma issues, I was not able to do my own painting this time. Plus the great room has really high great walls. What impressed me so much is that Bobby pays attention to the work underneath. He preps and then preps some more. He fixed things that were the fault of the builder and painter before him. At the last moment we added the Foyer to the paint job upstairs and he added very little on to do this and then he fixed some glaring issues that I had problems with. Then to make things even more amazing, he fixed issues that were not at all part of the job. Bobby saw a problem and he fixed it, for absolutely no money or added time. I am so very pleased with the outcome of this job. Bobby also knows how to fix those cracks that snake up to the ceiling from corners of windows. He knows the right way and it looks great! Most people do not paint their ceilings and if they do they are just builder white and are painted when the house is built and only repainted if there is a problem. I am not most people. My ceilings are colored. My ceilings downstairs were also drop, so you have to be very careful when they are painted to avoid dipping and sinking. My newly painted color ceilings are lovely. We installed a chair rail in one of the rooms and did the calking, but not the basecoat. Bobby did that for us. Again, he fixed some molding issues that existed when the builder put the house together. Bobby even took the time to explain to me how to clean the paint sprayer as we have a new one just like his. There is so much more that he did. I would so hire Bobby again and I would recommend him to anyone. And, he is coming back in a few more days with his ladder and expertise to help rehang one of the huge pictures in the great room. We were just waiting for the paint to cure before rehanging. "We had a leak that had weakened the sub-floor in the shower. Chris professionally removed the shower glass, tile, concrete, shower pan and rotted sub-floor. He placed blowers underneath the house and in the bathroom to dry out as much sub-floor as he could. He installed a strengthened sub-floor, built a new shower pan, and retiled the shower and the surrounding floor. Chris's work habits are very good in that you always knew when he would arrive and he always worked as late as needed. I would recommend and hire Chris again in a minute!"
