"Overall I had a good experience. Since the cleaning I have not had any breathing issues! I'm glad I got the furnace cleaned as well as the ducts sanitized along with the vent cleaning The Good. - Jennifer who answered the phone was AWESOME. Friendly and called my right back when they had a last minute cancelation. The gentleman who performed the service was very friendly and professional. He explained how the service would be performed. John the owner took the time and explained the service over the phone while I was researching. I have vents on my ceiling and he explained the logic on why they do not remove them. Made sense and glad that he explained and very glad the vents weren't removed. (side note I submitted an on-line request and never heard back, I had to call to get the info). The not so good - Lack of cleanup. 1) My vents are on the ceiling and after the person cleaned each vent, some paint/drywall fell. Not alot but it made a small mess under each of the 9 vents INCLUDING my walk in closet and had "drywall/paint" on some of my cloths. Before the person started I SPECIFICALLY asked if I should cover stuff up and he said no, the suction would take care of everything. Once I saw the small mess under each vent I asked him and he said "unfortunately there will always be some stuff that come out". Again that makes sense BUT when I asked in the beginning he should have been up front. I do believe they should have cleaned up under each vent. 2) Unfortunately there were 3 dark stains on my carpet...not sure if from their suction hose or something else. The person said he thought it was mud and said to wipe if up once it dried. Luckily later in the day I scrubbed to get it out. When the gentleman left I IMMEDIATELY called the office to explain the lack of cleanup and stains. Jennifer was great! She was very apologetic and said that she will tell John and that I will probably get a call from him. There was a miscommunication and I wasn't told that John was on vaca. However as soon as he was back he called me. He was very apologetic and took my feedback and talked to the tech."

"I had previously called Gillece Heating and Plumbing and within 5 minutes after being at my home he had recommended a new furnance which I might add was working great. I had called Gillece and told them what I needed before he came out but the service man started taking apart my furnace saying I needed this I needed that, this was out of code and just went on and on. I told him if he wasn't here to fix the pipe (which was rusting through) then we were done and I wasn't paying for his initial visit either. He went on with his sales pitch and telling how to get a loan for a new furnace. Very frustrating. Donahoe came out and did exactly what I asked them to do after giving me a price. I thought he would take the whole pipe out but he saved me money as part of the pipe was still in great shape and did not need replaced which I wouldn't have known if he hadn't said anything. I would gladly have Donahoe come back out to service my furnace or air conditioner. Great job and good price. I actually enjoyed talking with the tech also."

"Moved into a new house that smelled and looked like a heavy smoker used to smoke inside. Thought cleaning the ducts would be a good move to go along with repainting and scrubbing the place down. We had a group on that was $85 for $250 worth of air duct cleaning. The $85 covers 10 vents. We had 14 vents, each extra vent was $10. They suggested we sanitize, and we agreed just hoping that will wash away some of that nicotine smell, but who knows if sanitizing actually helps with nicotine odor. That was an additional $75. Also suggested we clean our very dirty furnace blower, that was $75 but they took $25 off so it ended up being $50 for that extra. Andrew and Adam were punctual, friendly and fast and explained everything to us. They didn't let our cats out of the house, although our cats were thoroughly freaked out. The vacuum sucking sound is loud. Andrew showed us a video of our ducts before and after cleaning, and they went from really filthy looking to looking nice and clean."
