He stated he was only doing the gables per his boss. The boss called immediately and was irate. He insisted the work was only to paint the gables. I told him we had both a written estimate and video recording [of the renegotiation] stating the work to be done. He insisted we pay more. I asked why, we already agreed and he hung up on me. "
