"We hired Lecla Home Improvements LLC for new roof, chimney cap, major water damaged bedroom repair ( ceiling , walls & carpet) and for replacement windows etc. Our home was badly damaged by the May 15th tornado to the roof, bedroom, kitchen and widows. We had other contractors bid for the job. When my wife & I met with Luis Clavijo, we felt he is the guy to do the job. Luis was punctual and was very professional and extremely knowledgeable about his field of work and in explaining to us in detail of the scope of the work involved, above all he is very humble. Since we have to work with the Insurance company, Luis prepared a very detail breakdown of his estimate to submit to the insurance company and met with the adjuster at the house to go over the breakdown to agree on the final price. Not only he and his team were punctual, he also has great communication and sense of urgency by returning phone calls or e-mails promptly. His team captain Henry was at site all the time during the roof installation and bedroom repairs and for other jobs. Our roof has multiple steep areas with unusual roof architecture with multiple peaks, valleys and dorm. His team was very efficient and has done the job in 2 days and we are very pleased with the outcome. When I asked Luis for some other small jobs that need to be done at the house, not related to damage by tornado, he was very accommodative and instructed Henry to take care of it and Henry did a great job. He did such a nice job on the roof and bedroom etc, we decided to change additional windows at our house that were not part of the tornado damage, totaling the no of replacement windows to be 20. "It had been 25 years since I last replaced my roof. After doing some research I received five bids. Flying Colors was competitive. Chris came and walked on my roof, took pictures, and expressed concern regarding my chimney bricks. He also told me that I did not need to replace my gutters. I accepted the bid including roof replacement and chimney repair. On Friday, the mason came and replaced all the bricks from the roof-line up. The next day, Chris, Mario, and the crew came to do the roof. They took great care in protecting my landscaping, although a few flowers and bushes were affected, but not destroyed. The roof was completed in ONE DAY. I needed multiple sheets of plywood, but I knew the possibility ahead of time. Upon going up in the attic after completion, I noticed some detritus from the roof was scattered all over. I called Chris, and he came over a week later and personally swept out a garbage full of debris. Although I never interacted with Steve, his associates did a top-notch job. "An excellent experience with David Hand, president of Advanced Roofing, and the Advanced Roofing team.  We have a large and complex 8,000 sq. ft. roof.  When we bought our house several years ago, it had a cedar shingle roof.  We kept losing shingles that needed to be replaced and David Hand was one of the very few roofers that took the time to replace them whenever we called him for help.  We finally decided to replace our wood roof with a no maintenance GAF High Definition asphalt shingle roof and contacted several roofing companies for estimates.  David promptly gave us a detailed and very competitive written estimate.  He also took the time to explain to us the work that needed to be done, including the removal of the existing wood roof, installation of plywood, installation of an ice and water shield membrane and copper vent pipe boot flashings, among other work.  Once we signed the contract, David communicated with us frequently to let us know when he would be starting our job.  The work was started when promised and despite several rainy days when work had to be stopped, he finished the job right on time.  We also liked the fact that David had an experienced foreman on site at all times and he was always there to answer any questions that we had. We were very pleased with the team, several of which have been with David for over ten years.  The team worked long hours to stay on schedule, was courteous and professional and was very careful to make sure that our family members were not in harms way as the large amount of original roofing material was removed.  At the end of each day the team cleaned up any debris in our yard.  Upon completion of the job, our attic was vacuumed and the large dumpster containing all the debris was promptly removed.  David also walked the premises with us to make sure that we were happy with the work.  All in all, replacing a roof of this size and complexity is a major undertaking for everyone.  David and his team made the process a quick and virtually painless one for us and we ended up with a beautiful new roof that we really love.  We highly recommend David Hand and Advanced Roofing. <br />"
