"The owner and his crew did an excellent job of paving my driveway in just five hours. They brought in their heavy equipment and after filling and compacting the base, they poured and compacted the asphalt until it was level and smooth and the edges clean. My driveway is a challenging hill. They are very hard workers and did all this for an amazing price!"

"Alex removed our existing concrete patio, installed a paver patio, and rebuilt a stone wall. He and his crew were courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable, paying great attention to detail. Alex was also very accommodating, meeting us at a stone yard to help pick out materials. We highly recommend Alex Masonry and would definitely hire them again."

"After receiving several estimates for a hard wood floor installation project, I chose US Home Improvements LLC for the job. I am so glad I did. The price was very competitive. The team was responsible and professional. They showed up on time every day, cleaned up the work area before they left, and did a wonderful job on my floors. They even took responsibility for some accidental damage done . Stuff happens.. . I will hire this company any time for future flooring projects. Thank You Mondy and team!!"

"I recently had the pleasure of contracting with Kapa LLC (Genti) and his crew on a sizable walkway and patio project, and I am thrilled to share my experience. From start to finish, they exemplified nothing but quality workmanship and dedication. Not only did they deliver exceptional results, but they also went above and beyond the scope of what I initially asked for. Genti provided valuable suggestions and insights that truly enhanced the final outcome of the project. Their attention to detail and commitment to excellence were evident every step of the way. I am incredibly pleased with the work they have done, and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone in need of stone or patio work. Genti and his crew are truly top-notch professionals who take pride in their craft. Thank you, Genti, and the your entire team, for exceeding my expectations B."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Greenwich, CT

Installing interlocking pavers takes between four and 10 days, depending on the project's size and complexity. The process involves careful excavation, precise leveling, and building a stable base before placing the pavers. Larger projects or challenging site conditions may require more time to ensure a durable and attractive result that stands the test of time.

It's not recommended to place pavers directly on dirt. For the best results, you'll need to lay a foundation of gravel or sand to create a leveled and compacted base. This ensures proper drainage below the pavers, preventing erosion and shifting over time. An uneven or unstable base can cause the pavers to move or settle improperly, affecting the appearance and longevity of your installation.

Installing interlocking pavers yourself involves rigorous preparation and careful execution. This DIY approach requires excavation, precise leveling, and building a proper base using gravel or sand to ensure stability. The project demands at least two to three full days of intensive manual work and the use of specialized tools. Alternatively, hire a paver installer for professional results.

Concrete stone and clay brick pavers are the top choices for homeowners. They offer robust performance and an attractive finish that elevates outdoor living areas. These materials are engineered for superior durability and design flexibility, ensuring long-term strength and style. Selecting the right paver type maximizes the overall appeal and functionality of your space while meeting all design and performance standards.
