"I can’t say enough good things about Patrick Bernard of Bernard Masonry. He isn’t just a mason, an artisan. He’s an artist. I wanted a brick walkway on the side of my house. Patrick was the second contractor I talked with, and after meeting him I didn’t need a third. He answered every question, allayed every concern and provided a detailed, satisfying bid. I watched as Patrick and his crew – Brandon and Tom – moved methodically from one phase of the project to the next. Patrick put down the bricks in a herringbone pattern. Each brick and part of a brick was placed very carefully and precisely. They had to take apart the fence gate to make room for the excavator. They put it back together better than it was. Patrick and one of his crew were on-site on time every morning and worked til evening. He said it would take five days, and it did. The cleanup was so thorough, there is no evidence they’d been there. Hire him and you’ll have no worries. These guys are good."

"We hired Western Paver Design to redo our backyard. I was referred them by two different people in my neighborhood. I obtained multiple estimates but decided to go with WPD based on the personal recommendations as well as Joe being so friendly and knowledgeable during the estimate. He answered all of my questions, provided his expertise and input on what would work or not, and gave a fair and competitive price. Joe created a wonderful plan for our backyard based on what we wanted. He took our “wants” and ran with it. Darwin led his team with Marteen and Modesto to complete the plan and make our backyard our dream backyard. They were incredible to work with. They came and removed all of the sod that was already there. (It was installed incorrectly and looked terrible) the raised the backyard and leveled it all out and built a retaining wall around the whole yard. They installed a large paver patio (roughly 13x18) and then next to that a large turf are, about the same size. Along the house they built a small deck area to be level with the turf and against the house. This was nice so there was no large drop off area, being a hazard for the kids. On the other side of the retaining wall they built me two large raised garden beds As well. I cannot rave enough about Darwin, Marteen, and Modesto, and Joe! They were a pleasure to work with! They were professional and friendly and worked so hard each day they were here. They transformed our yard into exactly what we wanted-a large area for entertaining and BBQing, a nice turf area for the kids, and garden beds for me to grow vegetables! The end result is everything we could have imagined!"

"Scope of project: 1) reset/regrade pavers stones in front walkway and back patio area that were displaced by new driveway and trenches, 2) install drain in low spot connecting to an existing drain, 3) demo a platform of pavers next to the garage to make even with the rest of the patio. I had a wonderful experience hiring Jose with Luna Masonry from beginning to end. I chose him over other bids because he seemed very knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and well versed in the scope of my project. His estimate also seemed like a fair fee. Jose and crew were able to schedule right away and completed my project in a timely fashion. The end result was very impressive and they cleaned up the work area well. "We recently expanded a deck, added a patio cover, and are putting a hot tub underneath this second floor deck. There was a concrete patio below the existing deck and we wanted to match that, w/ reinforcement for a hot tub. We got a couple bids for the job. Danny was the estimator that came out for Forest and he seemed knowledgeable and was punctual and professional. It was not the cheapest bid, but the company is much more well established than a couple others we consulted so I put more trust in their work. Rigo is the guy we needed to work with on scheduling etc. for concrete work. This was a little rocky at first, but that had a lot to do with us needing to postpone the start till our deck was done, but then also work around a vacation we'd be taking, and make sure the concrete had enough time to cure before our hot tub is dropped. Despite a slight language barrier, we worked it out and even managed to get it done ahead of when we originally scheduled it. Punctuality is impressive with these guys. For 3 days they were waiting outside our house to start at 7:30am precisely. They had to remove a portion of fence and work around some foliage for access. They ended up encountering an unexpected drainage tube of some kind while digging and made sure to create an access point for us if it's ever needed in the future. The concrete looks great and matches our old patio so well, it's hard to tell they weren't poured together. Danny and I (and later Rigo) discussed treating the old concrete to help the matching. At the end of the work they did a great job of cleaning up the area and returning everything to normal. Rigo also helped us by showing us how to remove the fence portion for when our hot tub is delivered and left the top cap off because he said we'd really struggle to get it off if they put it back. I'm happy with the work, communication, and cleanup and trust if there are any problems I will be able to get them resolved. If we have further landscape needs in the future I will def be calling Forest for a bid."

"Very quick response time. This was a fairly small patio job and due to HOA constraints couldnâ t use big machines. Still, they got it done in one day. They had great design suggestions and went beyond my expectations. They even added some dirt around the stepping stones and tamped it down, which was not included in the work order, just to improve the appearance next to the patio. PLUS, the crew was respectful and good natured when I changed my mind about the steppingstones placement as they were laying them down."
