Our attention to detail has made us the top referral for Portland area Plumbing supply houses as well as in Senior Communities. "Best Price Plumbing needs to change its name. A year ago I was charged $120 to install a garbage disposal unit. A few days ago I was charged $223 to install a kitchen faucet that I had purchased for $64. (This included a high charge of $54 for supply lines.) The prior day they were out to check the toilet for leak at the base and to install the shut-off valve (for which they charged $30, as well as $15 for a wax ring, much more than prices quoted at Home Depot. ). After looking over the 2 bills, I noticed that each had a $20 'miscellaneous' fee (for caulk, rags, etc), which I had never seen before. I called and was told this was added because their business was not profitable enough. I was told that I should have received a 10% senior discount on the service, but not parts. Rather than issue a refund of $30 on my credit card, they submitted a new charge of $397 and were supposed to reverse the two earlier charges. However, only the charge of $203 was reversed. I've had to ask the credit card company to reverse the $223 charge; and this is currently pending."
