They were friendly, thoughtful and let us know at the end of the first day when they would be returning. It is a very large backyard and took 2 days for the fence to be installed and then a few hours a third day installing the gates and post caps. When the guys realized on the second day that where we wanted to end the fence on the one side would not look right, they promptly asked us about our opinion and we heard more than one time and quot;you're the customer, whatever you wantand quot;. We ended up moving the one side back a few feet and Ken adjusted the pricing - no hassles. After the job was completed, we noticed that we didn't get the post caps that we had originally wanted and called Ken who said and quot;No problem, we will send someone out to take care of it right awayand quot;. And that is EXACTLY what happened. We have a beautiful fenced in backyard and a very pleasant experience with Rafab and would advise anyone needing a fence to call them for a truly quality experience from start to finish.</p> <br />"

"I was told that they are in Southwest Detroit and that I should look for someone in my own area (I'm 20-25 miles from there). It seems this is the way it goes with Angie's List. All the contractors are too busy or have very small service areas. I will probably go back to using other ways to find contractors, so I can find someone who is available to do the work."

"due to permit being ready sooner than expected our fence was installed sooner than planned. However, the installation crew hit our cable line which resulted in a loss of cable and calls to the cable company and wait time to repair. They also hit our electric line which resulted in (a month later) random loss of power to our house. DTE explained that the line was nicked during installation and the insulation in the line slowly starts to deteriorate causing random outages until the final outage which resulted in them digging up our yard to replace the line with a new line. Finally have full power after 2 days. Not sure if I would hire again. 1) I won't ever need another fence 2) I am not sure how qualified the crew was."

"I called them back in March for the estimate, however because we had to go through the neighborhood association and make some changes to the proposal the fence was not installed until July. They installed a very nice aluminum fence and they did a good job. I felt that the price was reasonable for the work."

"Mike is incredible, both as a person and as a contractor. It seems that most people that go through a big remodeling project have complaints about their contractor and subs. Despite facing many unexpected issues during the remodel (unexpected by us, having never done a remodel, but not as unexpected to Mike), working with Mike was a great experience. He is very conscientious, patient, and reliable. He has a ton of experience and is highly skilled. We give him our highest possible recommendation. In addition to the remodeling work, he also did masonry work. Again, great work. I have not listed a cost of services since I am not sure of a total, and it was a long project that evolved and expanded as we went. Mike was always great about giving cost estimates and his charges were probably less than they should be for the quality of work he provides."
