I called the office on a Thursday and he was able to come out the following Tuesday, which was significantly quicker than anywhere else we called (if they even answered the phone, because most didn’t). Derek is very communicative, easy to work with and transparent about materials and cost. He was super friendly, always on time, and sent updates with pictures about how the job was going. He looked at other places around the house as well, that might need repairs first, as we were looking to paint the house later this summer. Is Mr. Handyman the cheapest option out there? Probably not, since it is based on an hourly rate. However, pricing is not unreasonable, and for that you get high quality, reliable service. To me, that is well worth the cost. I've learned the hard way over the years that you generally get what you pay for. (Cheaper is not always better!) I highly recommend Mr. Handyman of Central MetroWest and will continue to use them for all of my home repair needs."

He pointed out that he could also replace some wooden pickets on the fence which I needed to have done but didn't think about asking him as getting the gate repaired was more important. He came out on Friday morning and repaired the gate and replaced pickets as well as secure a section of fencing. He did a great job. Bertie was very polite and punctual. He kept in contact with me the entire time. I would definitely hire Bertie again and I highly recommend him."
