"We pay about $19 a month to be part of the Blake Brothers "membership" service program which entitles us to 1 free plumbing and 1 free A/C inspection yearly. The free inspection of our 3-Ton main house A/C unit was done at the end of May 2025 and the tech identified one failing capacitor out of three total. He stated the replacement cost (with membership discount) at $450.00. I declined. Checking the suspected capacitor, it did indeed need replacement. BUT the cost of an exact replacement capacitor from Amazon was less than $13.00 total and it took me less than 30 minutes to exchange it. $450 to replace a $13 capacitor is a RIP-OFF and taking advantage of a customer. Thus, the 1-star review. -JK"

"We are doing a whole house renovation. My GCs plumber was unavailable so I chose to use Scott Plumbing. I had used them a couple of times before with no issue. However this time, They broke a vanity top during installation. I'm not naive, and realize stuff happens. But when it does I expect honest dealings.I expected they would apologize and pay for a new one.  I had 2 other contractors on site at the time, and both said that's the way it's supposed to work, and that they would make it right without discussion. However, Scott Plumbing handled it this way: I called the main office and explained the situation. They put me on hold, and never came back. While I was on hold they called the tech in his truck and told him they wouldn't pay. He came back in the house and started the sentence with "There could be many factors in...." to which I replied, y'all aren't going to pay for it. He said right. He the presented me with a bill for $1900 for the days work and shoved an iPad in my face to sign saying it was an approval for the work they had done that day, never showing me what I was signing. I then receive an email showing I had signed a release from liability. That is just a dishonest way to run a business. The job is only half done...and they will not be allowed back on the property to finish it. I will hire a different plumber to finish the work. Here's the silly part of the whole thing. I wasn't upset about the vanity top. I know accidents happen. Replacing it will only cost about $200. It's not that big of a deal. But because of the dishonest way they handled the situation, they sacrificed another $2000 worth of work on this project, and any future work over a silly $200 mistake. Character matters. And Scott Plumbing showed they have no character."

"Requested an appt on the website, and was called within an hour to let me a know a tech would be by shortly. Within 30 minutes, Marrele arrived. He cleared the clog from the vent drains on our roof, then asked us to run the washer to confirm that the drains were working properly. Within 90 minutes from when ATCP first called me, our problem was fixed and for a very reasonable price, without any attempts to upsell any additional services or products. We will definitely use ATCP if we need plumbing services again."
