Cox Roofing's Estimator, Rick Harris, arrived at my home on Tuesday, June 28th, right on time.  Though I was having a problem with rain seeping through one area of my roof, Rick was helpful in pointing out several other areas that also needed work.  He prepared an estimate, and the expected repairs were scheduled for Friday, July 1st, weather permitting.

Threatening rain on July 1st, I was happy their crew got a jump on rush-hour traffic and arrived at my home at 8 A.M. (before their actual work day began).  Their crew was prompt, efficient and everyone at Cox Roofing had excellent customer service skills.  The work was completed by 10 A.M., before it started raining, and the work area was cleaned up.

Working with William Mackay roofing was a great experience.  I knew from my home inspection that I needed to have a membrane sealed on my roof. I called three roofers before the winter and during early spring and every one of them was slow to get back to me, or just not very informative, would charge for the estimate, etc...

The maintenance was completed in a few hours. They took photos of the completed work and emailed both "before" and "after" photos with an in-depth explanation  of the completed work.

Ben Mackay shared information on how to maintain my roof.  I'm a new homeowner and I bought a well-maintained house that is almost a century old. He shared info on the difference between newly constructed roofs and the materials used, and roofs like mine.  Bill managed the job.

I paid a fair price but more importantly, I know that I can call them and they will do a great job.  They also stand behind their work. Family owned businesses are important - they rely on word of mouth and repeat business.  Highly recommend.

"A+ for ethics and professionalism. The repair on our old and non-standard roof was tricky and ultimately didn't last (roof leaked within 14 months). However, when the owner was contacted (he's busy so it took a while) he came out personally and arranged for an alternative fix to the roof. The owner, Dave Garner, did this at no charge, without being asked. We still don't know if we have a permanent solution but we're really impressed with Dave and the company's business practices. They brought the roof up to current code, (the roof no longer complied with local codes), and worked with our chimney company to install the flashing properly.
