"We contacted Surpass renovations because a coworker had used scott christopher homes on a new build and recommended them highly, and Surpass I understand to be remodeling devision of this builder.  <br /> We called to arrange a meeting and were asking for a bid from this remodeler for a total master bathroom remodel with a tentative budget of 45K. We explained we had 2 other contractors bidding on project. Our impression was that contractor was somewhat off put to have to be taking time to compete for a project. He was certainly not as friendly as others we had dealt with. Perhaps this remodeler is already very busy and our project was not large enough to warrant a lot of attention, but they did agree to come out. We did not use a designer but already had selected and provided all of the finishes for the bathroom and had design. Surpass did come to our home and we walked through our project. After about 2 weeks we did get an email but unlike our other contractors who provided a detailed estimate all we got was a number in our email from surpass. They were higher than the other contractors but we did expect that going in. The problem was it took several days to get a response to any attempt at communication, whether text message, email or call. I always got voicemail. I asked to meet by both text and voicemail to discuss the estimate in more detail as I was told they had 9 page cost study prepared, but I never heard back and never received this cost study. After I called and texted to ask to meet and waited two weeks without response  we really just decided that for whatever reason we were not really a priority for this remodeler and moved along. <br />"
