"We had lost two large oak trees on our property and had five other mature oak trees with large "widow makers" high up. The dead trees would be felled, but no stump grinding was required. Four Angie's List tree services and 1 non-Angie's List service were contacted for quotes. All but one made an appointment to come out to our home, evaluate the task, and provide a quote. We selected Gordon Frazier Tree Service for our job. Gordon responded promptly and came out within a few days to give us a quote. We found Gordon to be very professional, easy to work with, and made good suggestions that helped to lower the cost of the job, which was a very competitive one. We liked that Mr. Frazier would be on-site and oversee the agreed upon work the entire time. Our dead trees and several of the trees with dead limbs were near our buried septic tank and sewer lines running to the septic field. Other tree services were still interested in using large bucket trucks as much as possible, while avoiding these areas. But Gordon Frazier eased our concerns by not using any heavy bucket trucks. Instead each tree was climbed by an individual using ropes who would remove limbs and trunk in pieces, tying the larger pieces to ropes so they could be gently lowered to the ground. The job was completed in one day. Overall they did an excellent job and we are very happy with their work. They arrived at the appointed time, performed all the agreed upon work as quoted, removed limbs and branches by chipping them, and cleaned up afterwards. We definitely would hire them again, and recommend them to everyone."

"From beginning to end it went really well. Greg is a walking encyclopedia of trees and good practical advice on how to manage them. His proposal was clearly written and lower than two other firms. The crew was right on time, wasted no time getting set up and taking the tree down, and removed a large limb from another tree that fell while they were working on the dead tree. They climbed up about 50 feet in a twin trunk tree and installed a cable between the twins to help stabilize the lesser twin. Very pleased with them, enough to recommend them to my neighbor who also used them for a dead tree in their front yard."

"I received a quick response to my request for a proposal. They showed up on time for the proposal. The cost was very reasonable and I went ahead and hired them. I was expecting it to be done the next week but they fit me into the schedule two days later. The team showed up and removed the tree and cleaned up. They were friendly and very professional. They even removed some additional fallen limbs for me. I was very pleased and will most definitely hire their services again in the future. I will also recommend R&R Tree Service to my neighbors!"

"Axcobar was great! They were thorough, responsive, and super helpful. They provided a detailed estimate and quickly got to work. We had them trim several trees on our property and remove trees that were too close to the house. We’ve worked with a few tree companies in the past and Axcobar by far was the best we’ve worked with. We definitely recommend and plan to use them again."

"Process started out well with a good consultation and recommendations. I specifically needed expertise in some crepe myrtles that had never been trimmed as well as the health of a cherry tree that I was interested in keeping healthy. The work crew did a great job. The checked everything off the list. They were professional, fast, and efficient. Will keep these guys for annual trims and tree work"

"Excellent service. I called to setup a consultation for the removal of a dead tree in my backyard. Their foreman arrived on the same day (on a weekend) and gave me a quote to remove the dead tree as well as some brush in the general area. Work was completed during that week and the crew did an excellent job cleaning everything up. Would definitely hire again."

"Gusman delivered outstanding service, efficiently cutting down two trees at a fair price. The team was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly throughout the process. Everything was completed as agreed, exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend Gusman for any tree services and will definitely reach out to them again."

"Arneel and his team removed a dangerous tree quickly and safely. Very professional. Cleaned up afterwards. Will use again"

"Cut-down and complete removal (haul away) of a 35-40 ft Virginia Beech—with stump sawed flush to the ground. Contacted Bamboo Tree and Landscape Service and received an estimate from the owner, Jose Gutierrez, within 2 business days. Reached out to 3 other “ Angie Super Service Award” tree removal services for estimates. Return calls and estimates (20-40% higher) trickled in over 10-days. The work was completed within a few days after selecting Bamboo Tree and Landscape Service. Jose and his small crew (3 others) showed up at the scheduled time and were most professional and courteous. Jose was extremely prompt in returning phone calls, answering emails, addressing minor questions-concerns and getting the job done with short notice. Highly recommend with no reservations."

"VA Tree and Landscape did an outstanding job trimming several trees around our property. They left us mulch and throughly cleaned up all the debris. All of this was provided at a competitive and reasonable price."
