"I purchased the service through a promotion on Angie's List.  Dean's Service contacted me immediately and worked with me to schedule a convenient appointment.  On the appointment day, they called beforehand with an estimated arrival time and then arrived promptly.  The two technicians were courteous and professional, even covering their shoes before coming into the house.  They explained each step of the job they were doing and when I elected to buy an additional service that wasn't included in the promotion, the tech showed me the additional cost beforehand and asked if I was okay with it before they proceeded. "Technician came to the house and analyzed the problem. It was determined that the cost of repair was over the allowable Choice Home Warranty limit and it should be replaced. Choice Home Warranty issued their replacement cost. This cost was unacceptable and I challenged their figure. After some negotiation I was offered an increased settlement amount. I still balked at their offer but I was told to take it or repair my old microwave. I finally accepted their amount, even though it is still well below what it will cost me to replace the unit. I might add that the existing microwave has the convection feature and I want to replace with same features. The cost that I will receive also does not include any removal, disposal or installation costs. At this time I am debating whether I will continue with Choice Home Warranty or consider other options."
