"I called Ames Concrete and I spoke directly with Dennis, the owner.  He was an absolute professional, and we set up an appointment for him to stop by and give us an estimate on our first call.  He arrived as advertised, and my wife and I gave him an idea as to what we were looking for in terms of the patio.  He immediately painted the design we envisioned on the grass, and then he gave us the various options available for the patio.  We discussed details of timelines, the fact that a bobcat couldn't fit through our fence (meaning that his crew would have to wheel barrow all of the concrete and sand from the from yard), he took measurements, and we decided on a stamp design, color, and finish.   <br /> He delivered the estimate via email the next day - and it was exactly what we were expecting, and right on our budget.  We were looking for a 16'x32' patio, and Dennis delivered an estimate at under $11 per square foot.  We liked Dennis and his product so much that we actually requested a modification to the estimate, as we wanted to make the patio even larger than originally planned. "We had River City Wrap last week overlay our cracking cement driveway and walkway with aggregate. Took them 3 days which we expected and was told the agenda. This was a very pleasant experience, the project came in on time and on budget. The workmanship is outstanding and was exactly what we contracted for. The crew came out on time, got right to work and explained to us exactly what to expect and when. The owner, Brandon stopped by once the driveway was completed, reviewed the work and then explained what we needed to do in order make sure the work set properly. "The initial meetings and conversations about the patio were great.  Chris provided tons of information on all options available.  He was up front about all pricing options and got me a quote as soon as I wanted it.  He made it very easy to choose him. <br /> We set a date, but that date never happened and that was mainly due to weather and his family responsibilities.  The main difference with this delay and with other people I have contracted before is he always communicated with me.  I always had a status.  Whether I like his diecision or not about waiting on a weather occurance, I always knew what was up and why.  <br /> The best part of working with Chris is the fact that I would call him a perfectionist if asked to describe him.
