"I had asked another contractor to repair a hole in my barn wall and was in a hurry due to a preset meeting with a realtor about my property. He misunderstood the level of work and took the wall down. His estimate for replacing the wall was more than I was prepared to pay. I called Mr. Mom (Alan) to get an estimate on repairing the wall. "Cully removed old walls in a hallway and installed new sheetrock, did
all of the prep work and painted.  The job required removing and
restoring a great deal of molding, and he was careful to try to preserve
as much of it as possible.  He replaced the few pieces that could not
be saved and reinstalled all of the freshly painted molding.  He also
arranged for an electrician to install several new outlets and new
hard-wired smoke detectors. The job had to be done on a very specific
time schedule, and there was no room for schedule shift. Both Cully and
the electrician complied perfectly with the timeframe and by working
late, completed the job in record time.

"Overall it went pretty well.  They stared early and stayed late to make up time lost for rain.  They were very concientious about picking up every day.  John and his entire crew were very friendly and respectful. 

At first I wasn't very pleased with the number of visible seams in the flashing on the roof facing the driveway.  The roof is very "wavy" due to the settling of our ancient house and apparently the seams were unavoidable.  Everything has settled more and it is fine.  What is most important is that John talked to us about it and wanted to do anything he could to make sure we were happy with the job.

We would hire him again for work.  He seems to love what he does and he wants to make sure his customers are happy and it shows."
