He explained that replacing my shutters would probably take a day, and he could do the job between his other, bigger jobs, calling me the day before he planned to come. Before he committed to the purchase, he figured he'd go to Lowe's and see if they had the same thing we bought, only in the proper, longer size. Well, they did, and he bought them. Lowe's has a great return policy, so we just returned the original ones that didn't fit - no problem! Darrell did a great job and explained how the way he screwed the new shutters in would be sturdier than the original ones. They'll probably last at least another 16 years, probably longer. Darrell was very polite, friendly and respectful. He did all this running around in the morning and still finished the job by about 2pm! His actual labor charge was $350 ... the remaining was the cost of the shutters he purchased for us. We'd hire Darrell again in a heartbeat!"
