"Very pleasing for my wife and I. It was a satisfying experience to just sit back and let Carlos take care of business. He and his crew were prompt, worked hard all day with minimal stoppages , and fully cleaned up the entire work area after job completed. Any calls welcomed"

"Overall, the work was well done. There were delays of a few days in completing the work, I suspect because of their many jobs & heavy workload. Also, inexperienced employees did some sloppy work that required redoing. Not realizing these problems, I paid for the work in full. When I called about correcting these problems, more experienced workers returned and stayed with it until it was complete, i.e. they are very honest. I think you get the most accurate idea of how good and honest a company is when you see how they handle such problems. I will definitely call them when we need work in the future."

"<p>Mr. Higgins came out the day I called and gave me an estimate for the work involved.  It took me 3 months to get back with him at which time he set a date a week from that time.   David was at my house  promptly on that morning, worked all day clearing the huge trunk from the fence line - that was nasty work but he left the area neat at the end of the day.  The following day he worked all day until the job was finished.  His final cost was what he had estimated, the work was done neatly and professionally.  I am VERY happy with the job he did and I'm actually considering more fencing so that I can have him do it and know that it will be done well.</p> <p><br /></p> <p>Recommend him and appreciate the professional manner in which he performed his work.</p> <br />"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Harlem, GA

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
