"We selected Mother Hubbard Custom Cabinetry to perform our kitchen remodel after looking at several companies in the Harrisburg region. We chose Mother Hubbard because the price for the job came in lower than other places that offered a higher price for less quality. Additionally, John was knowledgeable, professional and down to earth. John was very careful about our budget and was in constant communication with us during the whole process. All of his staff, as well as the companies he contracts with, are very professional and polite. John was very patient with us as we navigated our first major renovation. He helped us make several design decisions and offered some unique design choices that made our new kitchen perfect and simply beautiful. We are very happy customers and highly recommend this company. Our kitchen remodel took place between Thanksgiving and Christmas 2016. We even had many Christmas packages delivered during this time while we were at work. His team was nice enough to bring the packages inside and all items remained secure. "I just want to make this clear that this is NOT the same as getting new cabinets or refacing. BUt for us it was the way to go. There was really nothing wrong with our cabinets- they just needed a face lift. You do not have to take everything out of the cabinets but we did any way because we wanted to clean them out and there is a little dirt that happens but not much. We left our garage door opener in the door and I did not have to take off work to let Chris in. Chris was in and out in 2 days. It would have been one day but we asked him to do some extra work for us. Replacing the sides on the cabinets. He also placed bumper pads on the doors and drawers and now they do not bang closed.
