Quote was quite a bit higher than I expected, but I learned from neighbors that chain link fence costs for small jobs are quite high (based on their experience with quotes for small chain link fence jobs). Very professional, high quality work. They were able to fit me in pretty quickly (just a couple weeks compared to 6-12 weeks with other companies). Highly recommend."

"Time consuming but worth it. They understood Ann Arbor's local ordinances better than any other bidder, and were the most competitive bidder (if not by much, but they still were the lowest bidder). They made multiple trips to ensure the estimate was accurate and took pains to find a fencing solution that would comply with Ann Arbor's convoluted rules, yet be both functional and aesthetic. Multiple install trips as well, to deal with tree removal issues and weather problems. Final installed fence is beautiful. We likely will follow up because the locks installed on the two gates installed are proving difficult to manage, but I fully expect this issue to be resolved satisfactorily. (We have not yet contacted them about this, so it's not their fault that this issue remains unresolved - it's been a complicated year for us and, having worked with them, we trust in their ability to resolve this concern later. If we are wrong about this, we'll follow up on our review.) We found Upright Fence through Angie's List, and it was a good recommendation. We would do it all again exactly as it happened if given the option. We are so relieved to have the old, collapsing wooden fence removed and a new, vinyl fence - properly installed along the lot boundaries. Our thanks to the Upright team...we can understand why they've been in business so long. Experience does indeed count for something."

I was in town for a limited amount of time (3 weeks), and yet they managed to complete the entire job in plenty of time. All the workers- on the ground, salesman, and woman in the office were so very helpful and professional. When I had to call back to get the gate adjusted, they were back out here the next day. Neighbors have already said how nice it looks. "The work went well. Aproximately 70 feet of 6 foot high privacy fence with one 4 x 6 feet gate. The work was completed in 2 days plus a callback to realign the matching gate with the fence and adjust the latch. The callback resulted in a bout one additional hour. All was covered in the contracted cost. When we had additional fencing installed we called them firs, but they were not taking residential work. This was during Covid."

"Novi fence came out and found the yard markers right away (where other fence companies couldn't locate) They supplied me with a quote and gave me an estimated time to start the fence. They contacted me about 1-2 weeks early to see if we were ready for our fence to be started. I eagerly said yes. They set posts on a Thursday and came back on Monday to finish the install. The even went above and beyond by repairing a chain link area that one of my dogs manages to squeeze through. <br /> Everyone was very nice, from the initial quote to the men that came out to install the fence. "On 9/15/14, upon my initial call to Mr. Fence for a quote for about 25 ft wide 4 ft high chain-link fence repair/installation at my residence, I was informed by the office that I would receive a follow up call within 2-3 business days from a salesman to set up an on-site visit for a quote.  As promised, two days later I received a phone call from Gordon and we set up an agreed upon time and date.  When Gordon visited the home on 9/26, he evaluated the entire back yard to assess the status of the existing chain-link fence.  He called me and discussed his assessment and recommendations, which included considering a 5 ft wide gate if any lawn service was performed at my residence so that their equipment could enter as well as a small area of top rail that was damaged.  I was highly appreciative because I did have lawn service that would have to access the back yard.  I received a written quote from the office a few days following the on-site visit.  The office was wonderful in providing me a few different quotes assuming modified scope of services.  I ended up agreeing to the whole scope of services offered.  I was impressed not only with the great service between sales and the office, but the price was very reasonable compared to the comps I received as it was lower than Lowe's and another fencing company I had engaged for a quote.  Upon signing and mailing the contract to Mr Fence, I asked that I be called prior to the scheduled service date, as I wanted to make sure lawn care was coordinated with the project and concrete setting requirements.  The office gave me that courtesy which I highly appreciated and they performed the work as promised in one day on 10/14/15.  The new chain link gate, fence, and repair work was superb!  I would definitely work with them again in the future and would highly recommend them.  Thank you Mr. Fence! <br />"
