Brad shored it up for the winter with an array of jacks and an enormous chain to ensure the thing wouldn’t fall down till they could return in the spring. Foundation support: The sagging beams and jerry-rigged support columns in the dirt basement of our 18th century house were inadequate. They dug and poured a dozen footings and lally columns, supporting a line of new 6x6 and 9x9 beams that provide solid support to the house above. They showed up promptly every day, worked fast, and left the site clean and finished. They actually hung some paintings for us because we have like a two-story wall.  We live in a raised ranch, so there?s a big wall that goes from the ground level up to the ceiling of the first floor, along the stairwell, and I wanted a painting hung up at the top of that wall.  And so I called Tom and said well who do you know that can do this and he said well we do that.  I said okay.  So he sent a couple of guys out, not only did they hang the painting, they re-hung paintings that were kind of crooked.  They just took care of hanging things that required going up a ladder, like a two floor ladder, a two-story ladder.  What they did was up a scaffolding and just did it that way, which is not something that a homeowner can do.  I just keep going back to LOPCO for everything.
