"I have used Mason Works on a previous project in 2017 (new stone wall and front step repair) and was very happy with their work. This project was to replace driveway including matching previous stone wall, add granite curbing to right side and complete replacement of existing asphalt. Stone wall is great, granite curbing is great but does not fully match in size or color (they explained that this is typical when ordering granite) and driveway really is just OK. They use a more course asphalt mi than you'd typically see and they explained that it lasts longer. My issues with driveway: • Driveway not evenly smooth, quite a few rougher spots • Section on side of driveway that you can see it's not evenly rolled • They said to wait 5 days to park on it and I waited 3 weeks instead but there are several tire marks already from parking on it"

They also removed some old shrubs and landscaped with mulch and crushed stone. They even made a very cool rock garden out of the large boulders that they dug up from my back yard! Barry is very knowledgeable about brick and stone construction and was happy to share with me the pluses and minuses of different approaches. He really wanted to do a quality job that would last for years and stay looking good for a long time. By the time I finished talking with him I felt that I knew everything I need to know. He gave me a quote while he was there, I accepted the next day, and he and his guys came the next week and finished the work sooner than promised.
