The cracks in several walls caused by the 1870 building settling, those in the ceiling of our shower caused by a roof leak, and holes in drywall caused by renters pulling out several towel bars were repaired and repainted flawlessly to the point that you cannot tell where the cracks or holes were. "It all started with a sagging beam in the dining room of our almost 300 year old house. We knew that it would require special skills  to figure out what the problem(s) were and what would be needed to fix things. 
Colonial Restorations was the answer!  I found their ad in Angie's List Boston and North edition and went to their website where we found pictures of old houses, barns and mills all requiring the sort of work we knew we were going to need.
Tom Greene and his son Brad came to look at the project, talked in depth with us about what might be needed, and worked up a plan and estimate for us.  They were very honest and straight forward about the problems facing us and the fact that as they started the job they might find more problems than we were expecting. (They were right!) 
My husband, a mechanical engineer , had done a lot of restoration work on other parts of the house many years ago and was impressed with the knowledge and understanding that Tom and Brad about handling this particular job.  They communicated well with us and answered many questions (from me) about what was being done.  The work progressed, between rainstorms in June and July, and when the job was finished,  the north side of our 18th century house was proudly sporting new sills, posts, plates, floor joists and a roof  extension.
We are preparing to hire them back again for another project on the front of our house.  We wouldn't have anyone else do this work.  Tom and Brad really know what they are doing!"

Great price , we got 3 quotes and Atlas wasn’t the cheapest but after the job that Paul and his crew did I would hire them again over and over . Actually we own a commercial building in Weymouth and Paul gave us a great price to install a rubber roof on the 1,000 square foot roof . I no they will do a great job on that as well . My 1st review was not very flattering as I viewed the occurrence given facts as I knew them, and I said I wouldn't use him as I couldn't seem to get an estimate from him.  I rescind that earlier evaluation completely as Mr Persson stopped by and showed me he had indeed sent an email re roofing estimate, which must have gone immediately to my email SPAM.  Since I delete my email SPAM often, I have no way to be sure it came to my account.  

The estimate he gave me in person seemed to be very fair to re roof with the best roofing material available.  I was impressed that he would take the time to personally stop by after he was made aware of the estimate problem.  I am leaving the Cape until next May.  I will probably use Persson Construction to re roof my house at that time.  If I use Persson Construction for this job, I will update my review at that time."

He sent some men over to clean the lightens off my roof, so when his men came they did partial work and then one of the men came down and they were two of them and said, "Look, we are not going to continue with this roof. Your roof is in bad shape, it doesn't make sense for us so we won't charge you for what is done." And so we called the office and by way they also provided gutter cleaning as part of the service. So my dealings with them were very fair because they treated me fairly. The part of the roof they cleaned was very good to me, but then they stopped and they did about twelve to fifteen percent part of the roof."
